Joe Denly struck an unbeaten List A career-best 150, having earlier taken 4-56, as Kent sealed a convincing four-wicket win over Glamorgan at Canterbury in the One-Day Cup.

The all-rounder helped bowl the visitors out for 274 in 49.3 overs, as Nick Sleman top-scored with 92 and Australian batsman Shaun Marsh hit 45.

Denly, batting at three, came to the crease for the hosts in the fourth over after Daniel Bell-Drummond was trapped lbw by Ruaidhri Smith for three.

The 32-year-old struck 19 fours and and two sixes in his 143-ball innings as he saw Kent home with 11 balls spare. SCORECARD

Durham picked up their first win of the competition, as they sealed a nine-run (DLS) win over Worcestershire in a rain-affected match at Gosforth.

Michael Richardson hit 64 as the hosts were bowled out for just 209 in 45.2 over but the visitors collapsed to 40-4, with Chris Rushworth taking 2-28, and although they rallied to 82-4 before the rain began to fall they loss of wickets saw them end behind the required DLS score of 91. SCORECARD

There was also a narrow five-run win for table-toppers Derbyshire over Leicestershire in the North Group, in the rain-reduced 33-overs per side match.

Having posted 211-9, as Billy Goodleman made 64 for the hosts, the Foxes needed 18 off the last over and although Ravi Rampaul conceded two sixes and a no-ball in the final over, Derbyshire just held on. SCORECARD

In the South Group, an injured Paul Stirling batted with a runner but scored a match-winning 116 as Middlesex beat Sussex by 74 runs in Brighton.

The visitors racked up 288-4 as Stirling and Nick Gubbin (84) shared an opening stand of 198 before Ravi Patel took 4-58 to bowl the hosts out for 214. SCORECARD

In Blackpool, just 8.2 overs were bowled between Lancashire and Warwickshire - with the hosts reaching 50-1 - before the weather intervened and the match was abandoned, while there was no play at all between Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire at Headingley and Gloucestershire and Hampshire at Bristol.
