Teenage all-rounder Will Jacks cracked a sparkling maiden hundred to ease Surrey to an emphatic six-wicket Royal London One-Day Cup win over Gloucestershire at the Kia Oval.

In only his third first-team appearance, the powerful 19-year-old right-hander hit a majestic 121 with 14 fours and four sixes to dominate a second-wicket partnership with Dean Elgar.

The South Africa Test player added 50 from 60 balls to help Surrey canter to their opening South Group win with 27 balls to spare. SCORECARD

Samit Patel made a 62-ball century as Nottinghamshire posted a ground-record 409-7 on the way to beating Leicestershire by 93 runs at the Fischer County Ground.

The former England international hit 14 fours and two sixes as Nottinghamshire registered their fourth highest List A score.

Leicestershire's reply could hardly have begun worse, the driving Michael Carberry inside-edging a wide half-volley from Jake Ball on to his stumps in the first over.

Leicestershire's middle and lower order worked hard, with Tom Wells and Callum Parkinson both passing 50, but Nottinghamshire were never in danger. SCORECARD

Glamorgan came up just short despite a quickfire 92 from David Lloyd as Middlesex won an entertaining encounter by two runs.

Half-centuries from Nick Gubbins and Eoin Morgan had given Middlesex a good base but it took an unbeaten 50-ball knock of 62 from all-rounder James Franklin to get them up to 304-6 after a mid-innings wobble.

A partnership of 126 between Lloyd and Colin Ingram through the middle overs put Glamorgan in control but they fell away in the last 10 overs and although No 11 Lukas Carey hit three boundaries in the final over, Middlesex clung on for the win. SCORECARD

Rilee Rossouw scored his first home century for Hampshire as they beat Essex Eagles by six wickets at the Ageas Bowl.

He struck 111 against the Eagles to send Hampshire top of the South Group as they kept up their 100 per cent record in the competition.

Hampshire, who had lost five of their last six List A matches against Essex, had been set 304 to win after Adam Wheater, Tom Westley, Ravi Bopara and Ashar Zaidi had all plundered half centuries. SCORECARD

Joe Clarke, Travis Head, Ross Whiteley and Ben Cox hit half-centuries in Worcestershire's imposing 350-6 before the Rapids held their nerve with the ball to beat Yorkshire by four runs at Headingley and continue their winning start in the One-Day Cup.

Clarke and Head laid the platform with scores of 61 off 64 balls and 77 off 94, respectively. Whiteley and wicketkeeper Cox then put the Vikings under late pressure with 66 not out off 41 balls and 50 off 33.

They scored the lion's share of 122 off the last 10 overs before Yorkshire started their chase strongly through ex-Pear Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Che Pujara, who made 101 off 94 balls.

Yorkshire battled hard and even took the target to six off the last ball with one wicket but they finished just short on 346-9. SCORECARD

Luke Procter led Northamptonshire to a two-wicket victory against his old county Lancashire with just a ball to spare in an incredible game of cricket that saw both innings swinging back and forth.

Northants, set 280 to win, were 194-2 in the 34th over but lost 3-5 in four overs. The target was then reduced to two needed from two deliveries and Procter flicked Matt Parkinson's leg-spin delivery wide of midwicket for a boundary to win the game. SCORECARD

Luis Reece made 92 as Derbyshire chased down 273 to beat Durham by four wickets at the County Ground.

Reece also played his part with the ball, taking 2-43 as Tom Latham top-scored with 66 for Durham.

Billy Godleman (60) shared a stand of 125 for the second wicket with Reece but after both were dismissed by Nathan Rimmington (3-36), it were left to Alex Hughes (42no off 27 balls) to get Derbyshire over the line. SCORECARD
