I’ve gone for a three-seamer, two-spinner combo in this week's team, while it has been another good few days for the batsmen!

1) Jason Roy (England)
A sparkling 73 laid the platform for England’s middle and lower order to build on in the first ODI. When he’s on form, he is a fantastically crisp striker of a cricket ball and right now his place in the England side may well be more secure than that of opening partner, Alex Hales.
2) Tom Latham (New Zealand)
Set up New Zealand’s extraordinary win in Wellington with a career best 177. Turning in to a very dependable opener for the Black Caps.
3) Hashim Amla (South Africa)
Celebrated is 100th Test by becoming just the eighth person to mark the occasion with a century. Not quite as prolific as he used to be, yet still possesses a superb record in the longest format - only Kumar Sangakkara, Rahul Dravid and Ricky Ponting have scored more runs batting at No 3.
4) Virat Kohli (India) - Capt
India’s captain was nothing short of sensational in 2016, and he’s started in exactly the same vein this year. Now has 27 ODI hundreds, fourth on the all time list, and he’s only 28-years-old.
5) JP Duminy (South Africa)
A big hundred in Johannesburg helped South Africa beat Sri Lanka inside three days at The Wanderers. If AB de Villiers quits the Proteas’ Test side it will be a huge loss for the game, but a potential opportunity for Duminy to play a more prominent role. Also, an underrated bowler - he has a better Test average (38.76) than Moeen Ali (42.22) and Adil Rashid (42.78).
6) Kedar Jadhav (India)
The superstar Kohli takes the headlines, but it was Jadhav who turned the first ODI in Pune on it’s head with a sensational counter-attacking century. At 31, he’s been a late developer, but will now look to cement his place in a very strong Indian XI.
7) Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh)
Wrote himself into Bangladesh’s record books with 217 in Wellington, his country’s highest individual Test score. Certainly one of the best all-rounders in Test cricket.
8) Mushfiqur Rahim (Bangladesh) - Wkt
Scored 159 at the Basin Reserve, putting on 359 with Shakib in the process - the highest partnership ever for Bangladesh. Unfortunately, losing the Test and getting struck on the helmet took the shine off this achievement.
9) Wayne Parnell (South Africa)
Picked up six wickets in his first Test for almost three years. Hasn’t fulfilled his early promise, but there will be hope in South Africa that Parnell can now help offset the loss of Kyle Abbott. Feels like he has been around for years, but he’s only 27!
10) Duanne Olivier (South Africa)
Returned match figures of 5-57 on debut as South Africa’s pacemen again dismissed Sri Lanka cheaply. Earned his place in the side through his consistent performances for the Knights - he has 229 first class wickets, at an average of 21.
11) AJ Tye (Perth Scorchers)
The Perth Scorchers’ premier death bowler finished off the Brisbane Heat with a hat trick this week in the Big Bash. Has some of the best variations and slower balls in the game.
