After Kevin Pietersen's retirement, Ian Ward is joined by David Lloyd to discuss the highs and lows of his England career.

The trio look at what to expect as Eden Park hosts the first day-night Test in New Zealand between what Athers believes are two well-matched sides and whether pink ball Tests will help to revitalise the longest format in New Zealand, leading to a discussion about the state of Test cricket worldwide.

Also up for discussion is whether Stuart Broad should be given the new ball after Mark Wood and Chris Woakes shared that responsibility with James Anderson in England's two warm-up matches.

Of course, Ben Stokes will make his first appearance in Test cricket since last summer and his involvement will give England the batting depth they lacked during the Ashes and "a perfectly balanced side for a day-night game", according to Athers.

Meanwhile, Bumble praises Dawid Malan and how he established himself in the side during the Ashes and backs Mark Stoneman and James Vince to do the same in New Zealand.
