Sky Bet expect under-fire captain Alastair Cook to still be charge of England for the Third Test against India, starting on Sunday.
Cook's dismal run of form with the bat continued at Lord's as his side slumped to a 95-run defeat to India to go 1-0 down in the five-match series.
It was India's first victory in an away Test match since June 2011, a run of 15 matches, and heaped further pressure on the England skipper to stand down after a run of 10 Tests without success.
Cook remained defiant in his after-match interview and the online bookmaker make him 1/25 to retain the captaincy for the Third Test at the Ageas Bowl and 9/1 not to lead the side.
Sky Bet cricket trader Damon Blezard said: "The pressure is certainly mounting on Alastair Cook and, while he'll almost certainly be in charge for the Third Test, he desperately needs some runs to ease the calls for his head."
Sky Bet have also released a market on who may succeed Cook if he does step down from the role and make Ian Bell the 2/1 favourite from Stuart Broad (11/4) and Joe Root (100/30).
Eoin Morgan is a 5/1 shot, while it’s a 66/1 shot on Kevin Pietersen making a shock return to the England captaincy.
