England v Sri Lanka: Alex Hales called up to ODI squad as cover for Alastair Cook
England have called Alex Hales into their squad for the second ODI against Sri Lanka as cover for captain Alastair Cook.

The captain is a doubt for Sunday's second game against Sri Lanka because of a groin problem, and opener Hales will join the group.
The Nottinghamshire batsman missed out on the original squad despite starring for the t20 side at this year's World Cup.
But Cook will need a late fitness test ahead of the Emirates Durham ICG game after reporting "tightness in the right groin", according to the England and Wales Cricket Board's Twitter feed.
Cook opened with Ian Bell at The Oval, making 11 as England won by 81 runs to win the first contest of a five-match series.
Meanwhile, the hosts have confirmed they will release Tim Bresnan to play for his county, Yorkshire, if he's not included in their final XI on Sunday.
The seamer will be allowed to travel from Chester-le-Street to Headingley to feature in the Roses clash with Lancashire in the LV= County Championship, therefore meaning he would also miss the third ODI on Wednesday, too.
Watch England take on Sri Lanka live on Sky Sports 2 on Sunday, with coverage from 10am.
