Australia have called up pace bowler Ryan Harris to their 12-man squad for the second Test against India in Sydney.
Michael Clarke's side wrapped up a convincing 122-run win in the first of the four-match series on Thursday - but they have added the 32-year-old, who is working his way back from a hip injury, to their options.
Mitchell Starc and Daniel Christian drop out of the squad, while all-rounder Shane Watson was not considered for the Test, which starts on January 3, as he continues his recovery from a calf injury.
Chairman of selectors John Inverarity said: "Ryan has had carefully monitored preparation, which has gone to plan.
"Mitchell Starc and Daniel Christian, who were both in the squad for the first test, have been omitted but remain very much in our thinking."
Harris has claimed 35 wickets in eight Tests at an average of 21.37 - however he knows he faces a massive challenge to force his way into the starting XI following the recent performances of James Pattinson, Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus.
"I'm down the pecking order," Harris said. "It's my fault that I got injured and all I'm trying to do is just get fit and let it take care of itself.
"I don't expect to be able to go straight back into that team. The boys, with what they did in the last two days against that batting line-up, was outstanding."
Harris acknowledged he can not afford too many more injuries if he is to remain in Australia's plans.
"I know if I get another bad injury that's probably the end," he said. "It sort of worries me a bit.
"Putting that doubt in my mind's going to cause negative thoughts and stuff, so I'm just going to try and stay fit.
"I've been doing everything possible, everything right, getting strong in the gym and running and doing everything I can so if something else happens then obviously you can't control that.
"But I still feel I've got a few years left hopefully and it's getting harder and harder now with the talent that is coming through, which is disappointing for me but it's great for Australian cricket.
"So we'll wait and see, hopefully there's no more injuries, I've had enough of them."
