Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan has decided he no longer wants to play Test cricket so that he can manage his health in order to play in the 2015 World Cup.

Irfan has been sidelined from international cricket for nearly seven months since injuring his hip during a Twenty20 game against South Africa in Dubai last November.

The 31-year-old, who stands at 7ft 1in, is now looking to manage his workload and does not want to play Test cricket as it is “an added pressure."

Irfan, who is now back to full fitness, said: "I have decided to play Twenty20s and one-day internationals only.
