Bangladesh's prize for emerging as Group A winners is a place up against the big-hitters in Group 2 of the Super 10s.
Former England captain Nasser Hussain takes a closer look at the teams competing to land a semi-final spot as the ICC World Twenty20 gathers pace in India… Check out Nick Knight's verdict on Group 1 here.
Nasser says: Australia have a very strong squad, made up of a lot of players used to playing in Indian conditions thanks to their IPL experience. They've a power-packed top-order - David Warner, Aaron Finch and Steve Smith, not to mention Shane Watson, who I think is a very fine T20 cricketer. Factor in 'the big show', Glenn Maxwell and James 'the finisher' Faulkner and you can't rule them out, although I'd say they have a decent rather than a 'gun' bowling attack. Ashton Agar is back and I like the look of Adam Zampa too - he's decent and could go well.
Record: 2007 - Semi-Finals; 2009 - Group stage; 2010 - Finalists; 2012 - Semi-Finals; 2014 - Super 10s
Squad: Steve Smith (C), Ashton Agar, Nathan Coulter-Nile, James Faulkner, Aaron Finch, John Hastings, Josh Hazlewood, Usman Khawaja, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Peter Nevill, Andrew Tye, David Warner, Shane Watson, Adam Zampa.

Nasser says: India are out-and-out favourites for the way they're playing, the experience they've gained in IPL and because they've got home advantage. These guys are always under pressure so the pressure of having to win it on their home soil is no more than they are used to. It's India's to lose, to be honest, although anyone can win on a given day in Twenty20.
I don't know if this will be MS Dhoni's farewell but it could just be the perfect international farewell for him. He's a calm head amid the chaos that is India in this tournament. The only thing that concerns me a little is their death bowling but if they can get those yorkers in at the end, they've got every chance.
Record: 2007 - Winners; 2009 - Super Eights; 2010 - Super Eights; 2012 - Super Eights; 2014 - Finalists
Squad: MS Dhoni (C), Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Pawan Negi, Ashish Nehra, Hardik Pandya, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Mohammed Shami, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh.

Nasser says: This might all be about the missing man! As a player one of the few decisions you're in control of is when to retire and Brendon McCullum clearly felt this was a tournament too far. New Zealand still have some very good cricketers; Martin Guptill has been magnificent in white ball cricket in the last year and Kane Williamson is a fine player in any format. There is pedigree in the seam attack and in tournament cricket too. I'd say they've still got a really good chance of winning but it would have been magnified with McCullum involved.
Record: 2007 - Semi-Finals; 2009 - Super Eights; 2010 - Super Eights; 2012 - Super Eights; 2014 - Super 10s
Squad: Kane Williamson (C), Corey Anderson, Trent Boult, Grant Elliott, Martin Guptill, Mitchell McClenaghan, Nathan McCullum, Adam Milne, Colin Munro, Henry Nicholls, Luke Ronchi, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor.

Nasser says: Pakistan's record in the tournament is mightily impressive - they are usually there or thereabouts and this year will be no different if they can get their batting line-up to fire. So much in Twenty20 cricket depends on taking wickets - and moreover, taking wickets in the powerplay - and they've had the attacks to do that. I like the look of their seam attack this time around - Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Sami and Wahab Riaz - but, for all of Umar Akmal's talent, the batting is a concern. One thing's for sure, they'll be well led with a lot of passion by Shahid Afridi.
Record: 2007 - Finalists; 2009 - Winners; 2010 - Semi-Finals; 2012 - Semi-Finals; 2014 - Super 10s
Squad: Shahid Afridi (C), Sarfraz Ahmed, Umar Akmal, Anwar Ali, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Irfan, Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif, Shoaib Malik, Khurram Manzoor, Mohammad Nawaz, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Sami, Imad Wasim.

Nasser says: Tamim Iqbal provided the star turn - hitting Bangladesh's maiden T20 international hundred, against Oman - as his country lived up to their pre-tournament billing and progressed to this stage, all be it without facing Ireland due to rain. How will they fare against the world's best? Their past record suggests not well, but there were signs at the 2015 World Cup and the recent Asia Cup that this is a side on the up.
They'll need big performances from their most experienced players, Shakib Al Hasan in particular, as well as inspirational displays from younger talent like Taskin Ahmed, to cause a shock. Mustafizur Rahman is yet to play after being ruled out of the Asia Cup with a side strain - but any squad with Nasir Hossain in their ranks must be taken seriously!
Record: 2007 - Super Eights; 2009 - Group stage; 2010 - Group stage; 2012 - Group stage; 2014 - Super 10s
Squad: Mashrafe Mortaza (c), Shakib Al Hasan, Abu Hider, Al-Amin Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Mahmudullah, Mohammad Mithun, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mustafizur Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Nurul Hasan, Sabbir Rahman, Soumya Sarkar, Tamim Iqbal, Taskin Ahmed.
