Bangladesh spinner Arafat Sunny and pace bowler Taskin Ahmed have been banned after being found to be using illegal actions at the World Twenty20.
Both bowlers were reported after their side's opening match of the tournament, a qualifying clash with the Netherlands in Dharamsala on March 9.
They have since undergone independent assessments - Sunny in Chennai on March 12 and Ahmed three days later - and they were allowed to play in the Super 10 opener against Pakistan where they took two wickets apiece.
But the assessments have shown Sunny's elbow extension exceeded the 15 per cent level of tolerance on the majority of his deliveries, while not all of Ahmed's deliveries were found to be legal.
They are now bowled from all international cricket until cleared, and the Bangladesh cricket association will have to call up replacements for the remainder of the tournament.
ESPNcricinfo reports Saqlain Sahib will replace fellow left-arm spinner Sunny and off-spinner Shavagata Hom will take Ahmed's place.
Bangladesh, beaten by 55 runs in their opener against Pakistan, are next in action on Monday against Australia in Bangalore.
Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza said the suspensions were a "devastating" blow to the Tigers' chances of beating Australia.
"It's a big blow. Two of our main players are out of the team. But we have to go through the process and continue to play hard," he said.
"We are going to miss everything from them. These two players have been good for us."
