Jos Buttler hit six boundaries in an over for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL on the day he was recalled to England's Test squad.

Jos Buttler has been described as an "outstanding talent" by national selector Ed Smith and a "once-in-a-generation" player by Sky Sports' Rob Key after being recalled to the England Test squad.

He certainly proved to be Shivam Mavi's nemesis in the IPL on Tuesday by smashing the Kolkata Knight Riders seamer for SIX boundaries in an over while batting for Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens.

Buttler began the third over with a flying edge over third man for four, then scooped Mavi over fine leg for six and followed that with back-to-back fours, cut over point and slapped through midwicket.

The 27-year-old scooped another stunning six over fine leg before ensuring Mavi's set of six went for a whopping 28 by carving a full ball to the backward point fence, as you will see in the video above.

Buttler might find it harder to do the same to Pakistan seamer Mohammad Amir in the Lord's Test from May 24 when he slots into the England side at No 7 - but you wouldn't put it past him!
