Delhi Daredevils fielders Glenn Maxwell and Trent Boult combined on the boundary ropes twice to dismiss two of the Mumbai Indians' batsmen

IPL fans were treated to a double dose of impressive tag-team catching by Delhi Daredevils fielders Glenn Maxwell and Trent Boult as the pair combined on the boundary ropes to dismiss two of the Mumbai Indians' batsmen.

Aiming to sign off a disappointing year in the IPL this season for the Daredevils - finishing bottom of the eight team tournament - the home fans were treated to some spectacular fielding, not once, but twice.

On the first occasion Indians' batsman Keiron Pollard was attempting to launch a leg-break from Nepalese spinner Sandeep Lamichhane out of the ground but Maxwell, running to his left, caught the ball and realising his momentum was taking him over the ropes he nonchalantly scooped the ball to Boult, who was running in from long-off.

The pair them combined in identical fashion for a second time to get rid of visitors' captain Rohit Sharma, with Maxwell and Boult's spectacular catching helping the hosts clinch an 11-run win.

Boult has shown his catching skills throughout this year's tournament but these catches were all about Maxwell's nous.
