We're talking about mystery spin, which can bamboozle batsmen and send them packing into the hutch or, at the very least, restrict their scoring opportunities whilst at the crease.
The twirl of Messrs Narine (West Indies) and Ajmal (Pakistan) could prove pivotal throughout the ICC World T20 in Bangladesh, so we put Rob Key into the ICC World T20 Zone to show you how to deal with it.
The 34-year-old - whose Kent side won the Twenty20 Cup in 2007, beating Gloucestershire in the final - looked at different stances and movements, as well the benefits of the sweep and reverse sweep shots.
