The event takes place over two days with the men's and women's time-trials running on Thursday 26 June, before the road races take centre stage on Sunday 29 June.
Team Sky rider Wiggins will line up at both races as he looks to recapture his national titles, but will face stiff opposition on both fronts in Monmouthshire.
Cavendish (Omega Pharma - Quick-Step) will hope to defend his national road race title, six days before the start of the Tour de France in Yorkshire. Team Sky duo Peter Kennaugh and Welshmen Geraint Thomas, as well as young Orica-GreenEdge twins Adam and Simon Yates all feature in a packed field.
The women's race sees defending champion Armitstead (Boels Dolmans Cycling Team) gunning for a third title, but she will need to fend off the challenge of Lucy Garner (Giant Shimano), in addition to double Olympic gold medallist on the track, Trott (Wiggle Honda) and current British Cycling National Circuit Race Champion, Hannah Barnes (UnitedHealthcare).
The men's time trial should see an intense fight as Alex Dowsett (Movistar) receives his biggest test yet, with Wiggins, Thomas and David Millar (Garmin-Sharp) in his final professional season all lining up to take the famous white, red and blue jersey.
Olympic and world team pursuit champion Joanna Rowsell (Wiggle Honda) lines up as the favourite in the women's time trial event which, along with the men's event, takes place at the Celtic Manor resort.
