Dame Sarah Storey claimed her second world title of the week at the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships in Nottwil, Switzerland with victory in Saturday's C5 race.
Having clinched gold in the time trial two days ago, the 37-year-old attacked the 62-kilometre race from the start to post a time of one hour, 44 minutes and 45 seconds, finishing over eight minutes ahead of nearest challenger Anna Harkowska of Poland.
It was the 22nd world title Storey has won in her career and the four-time gold medallist from London 2012 is now hoping to carry that form on to next year's Rio Paralympics.
She told British Cycling: "I feel really good. The worlds before a Paralympic year, in any sport, are the hardest because everyone wants to take the psychological advantage into the Paralympic year.
"Next year will be my third Paralympics as a cyclist, and you need to take those psychological scalps.
"The next 12 months people really begin to ramp it up so it's a really good indication of where you are and what you need to do."
