Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins are among six Team Sky riders confirmed in the British team for the road cycling World Championships in Copenhagen next week.
The pair were second and third respectively at the Vuelta a Espana, the first time two British cyclists have finished on the podium of a Grand Tour.
They are joined in a strong eight-rider team for the men's road race by Tour de France green jersey winner Mark Cavendish (HTC-Highroad), Steve Cummings, Jeremy Hunt, David Millar (Garmin-Cervelo), Ian Stannard and Geraint Thomas.
Wiggins will also compete in the men's time-trial along with Millar.
Other confirmed Team Sky riders for the road race at the time of writing - with more to come as squads are finalised - are Simon Gerrans, Mathew Hayman, Michael Rogers and Chris Sutton (all Australia), Christian Knees (Germany), Greg Henderson (New Zealand) and Juan Antonio Flecha (Spain).
