Sid Waddell, the voice of darts, lost his brave battle with cancer last weekend and passed away at the age of 72. Waddell's icnonic commentary style propelled darts into the spotlight and his array of colourful lines will go down in history. Check out some tributes to the great man here Sid, who also penned 11 books and wrote BBC children's programmes Jossy's Giants and Sloggers, allowed the Sky Sports cameras into his home earlier this summer to reflect on his life. The Geordie spoke about his childhood in the North East, his time studying at Cambridge University, his time behind the microphone commentating on some of the greatest dartist of all time, and his fight against bowel cancer.
