Wayne Mardle defeated Colin Osborne 6-3 to win Group Five of Championship League Darts.
'Hawaii 501' battled back from 3-2 down in the final to book his place in October's Winners Group in the internet-televised competition.
Having won five games on the bounce in the league phase to reach the last four, Mardle edged out Terry Jenkins 6-5 in a nail-biting semi-final.
He then sealed overall victory with a 94 checkout against Osborne, who had beaten him in the day's opening match at Crondon Park Golf Club in Essex.
