Adrian Lewis is 5/1 with Sky Bet to retain his PDC World Darts Championship in 2013 after defeating Andy Hamilton 7-3 at Alexandra Palace.
Beaten finalist Hamilton is a generous 50/1 with the online betting firm to win the title next year after succumbing to 2011 champion Lewis in an enthralling showpiece.
Phil Taylor is still the favourite at 11/4 to capture the crown he last won in 2010 despite a shock exit in the second round this year by PDC newcomer Dave Chisnall.
Sky Bet's Darts compiler Chris Spicer said: "Phil Taylor has talked of retirement after a disappointing end to a tough year.
"He is certainly nearing the end of his career and with a younger generation looming large he will never hit the heights of his previous dominance.
"Lewis on the other hand doesn't seem like he can do any wrong, it wouldn't surprise me to see him head the darts betting at the start of the 2013 World Championship."
Rod Harrington says it will take an exceptional effort to stop Phil Taylor winning the Premier League.
Sid Waddell is tipping James Wade to cause a big shock against Phil Taylor at the O2 Arena.
