Didier Drogba Chelsea Champions League Valencia

I didn't really expect West Ham to get anything from Manchester United and I don't think Chelsea would have either.

So I don't think that puts any more pressure on Chelsea as they knew before that match that they would have to come back from Newcastle with all three points to stay in the title race anyway.

Everyone at Chelsea will have expected United to beat West Ham so they will have been focussed on this one all the same.

I've been impressed with Chelsea recently, they've played some good football in the last few weeks.

Earlier in the season they had been pretty dour, sneaking one-nil wins.

But in the last couple of performances against United in the Premier League and Liverpool in that cracking Champions League semi-final they really have played some good stuff.

The comeback against Arsenal was a massive boost for them and for me was the turning point of their season.

Arsenal really needed to win that game but Chelsea came from a goal down and the belief they would have got from that would have been huge.

But this won't be an easy task for them against a Newcastle team that have turned the corner under Kevin Keegan.

They have been on a bit of a run, they came from two-nil down to West Ham last week to take a point - you wouldn't have said they had a prayer of coming back like that a few months ago!

And the three guys up front - Michael Owen, Mark Viduka and Obafemi Martins - have been in good form of late and will be a threat.

So this will be tough for Chelsea but the way they have played in the last two games, they go into the game as favourites, even though Keegan's men are going well of late.

Le Tiss Predicts...

AWAY WIN - I think Chelsea will nick this by the odd goal. They've had quite a few one-nil's this season and I think they might just steal another one to take the title race to the last day.

DIDIER DROGBA - He rammed Rafa Benitez's comments down his throat on Wednesday night and looks to be back on top form - and in that frame of mind I think he'll be the difference at St James' Park on Monday.
