Garcia: no victory this weekend, Jeff

Sky Sports is your home for NFL again this year and as ever, Kevin Cadle is our man at the helm.

Every week here on skysports.com he will call Sunday's live triple-header, but don't forget there is more live action behind the red button.

But before sitting down to Sunday night heaven, let KC mark your cards...

Tampa Bay @ New Orleans

Everybody wants to get off to a winning start and New Orleans are back in that Katrina/Gustav mindset that has served them so well in the past.

They are going to play at the Superdome but have been training in Indianapolis and for them this might seem like an away game - and over the years they have been a much better team on the road.

Don't ask me how or why, but I am sure if someone could bottle that formula and sell it to coach Payton, they'd make a whole lot of money!

I do like Drew Brees at quarterback and it will be interesting to see how he goes against the leading pass defence last year, although a word of warning about that Tampa defence - they are getting a little old.

And the thing they had working for them last year was; Atlanta Falcons didn't have a quarterback and they played them twice, the Carolina Panthers didn't have a quarterback and played them twice. Now, when you play four games where you're not gonna get hurt by the pass, it helps!

Offensively Tampa are coming from the old school. Literally. Jeff Garcia is 38, Joey Galloway's 36 and I just wonder how long these guys can survive and keep it going. What are they going to bring to the party this year?

I don't know what's gonna happen there, nobody does. But we might find out on Sunday!

CADLE'S CALL: There's not much that stands out for me on this Tampa team, so I've gotta go with the Saints.

Dallas @ Cleveland

The Cowboys are the most talented team in the NFL, so it's not just about Tony Romo and Terrell Owens.

Marion Barber is a talented running back and Felix Jones is going to add to that offensive arsenal so there is a lot more for Cleveland to worry about than the two star names.

We all know that Dallas passing offense is top-notch, but the thing I like about them this year is their defence.

Now they can create turnovers with Pacman (Adam Jones) in there and now they can do some damage on special teams. They can hurt you in so many ways.

They've got Chris Henry who they can move to safety if they feel Roy Williams isn't up to it in a passing situation and now that aspect of their game is taken care of, they will be even stronger.

But there is still one major concern - chemistry. Last year everybody was out to prove themselves, but are they still in the same mindset. Remember, they've got 14 guys who went to the Pro Bowl, so does that mentality stay the same, or does it change?

The Browns pass attack should not be overlooked and of course they can run the football well with Jamal Lewis.

Defensively they have added a lot of guys, but from what I've seen in pre-season, I can only see one winner here. You don't want to put a whole lot into pre-season, but hey - you gotta put something into it, Cleveland!

CADLE'S CALL: Cleveland showed nothing in pre-season, the Cowboys are a talented, talented outfit and that will give them the distinct advantage - and the win.

Chicago @ Indianapolis

So it's a new season and you've should have high hopes.

But you've lost your top receivers, you've got to bed in a brand new running back, your starting quarterback wasn't that for much of last year and your number one draft pick goes down with a season-ending injury. Welcome to life at the Chicago Bears!

It's hard to find any positives for Lovie Smith and even though it's week one, this will be all about their defense trying to contain, contain, contain.

If you're Indianapolis on the other hand, you don't really need to worry. You know you've done pre-season year in, year out and you know you don't put a whole lot into it. Guys like Peyton Manning, like Bob Sanders and like Dwight Freeney have been held back because they were hurt last season.

But there's one thing that worries me about the Colts on Sunday, and that's Saturday! Jeff Saturday is out for up to seven weeks and with Manning out there doing all his signals the one guy who was in tune with him was Saturday.

That Colts offensive line has to react to everything Peyton does without him in there at centre. It will be interesting to see how quarterback and line interact.

Defensively the Colts were one of the better sides last year and I expect them to be the same. They don't really go out and get free agents, they just stay with the guys they drafted and worked that old Indiana system.

Offensively there are still one or two things that need to be addressed but I pick the Colts to resume where they left off last year. And that's more bad new for the Bears!

CADLE'S CALL: Offensively there are still one or two things that need to be addressed but I like the Colts to resume where they left off last season and win.
