The Saints have no problems offensively. Robert Meacham looks like he's coming good, they've still got Devery Henderson and even though their man Marques Colston is missing, Drew Brees is still throwing 350 a week.

Before the season I wondered what was gonna happen at quarterback for Minnesota... and I'm still wondering!

The situation has just not got any better. They are just not scoring any more points with Gus Frerotte as they were with Tarvaris Jackson in there.

The way I look at it is Jackson is only 25, Frerotte is 37 and pretty much over the hill, so who are Minnesota going to get better with? They're going to get better with the young guy then the older one, so they might as well get that.

Jackson has had an opportunity to learn some things sitting on the sidelines, so if I were Brad Childress I would go back to him. Certainly, the Vikings have got to sort this quarterback situation out because it just isn't working so far.

At least they've got Adrian Peterson! He's been doing his thing, as usual, all year but the problem is, he is the only one doing his thing.

He's showing up every week and there's no way anyone can say he's just a one-season wonder, it's just the rest of that Vikings offense that's the problem.

They'd better get that quarterback scenario sorted this week to, because the one thing New Orleans can do is score points.

Had this been in Minnesota I would definitely have gone with the Saints because they're a better side on the road, but this is a home game, so all of a sudden I'm not so sure.

Their record over the years with Sean Payton is much better away from New Orleans, although this season it has changed and their two wins have been at home and the two losses have come on the road.

It's gone in completely the opposite direction, so we'll see if that continues.

And when you've got Reggie Bush out in the backfield, you can do it both ways, any problem New Orleans come up against is not gonna come from their offense or their quarterback.

CADLE'S CALL: They seem to have sorted their home form out, so I'm going for the Saints in this one. One simple difference is they got a quarterback and Minnesota don't.
