Danny will be up for this because as I say, he feels he is the best in Britain. It is the fights outside the UK where he falls short and starts to question himself and no matter what comes out of his mouth, no matter how much he tries to kid and con the public, he can't get the best of those emotional ghosts that plague him.

We've seen some great British title fights on Sky Sports recently and I think we are in for another classic here.

Danny Williams is a man who believes he is the best heavyweight in the country and on form, he probably is. John McDermott is the new kid and the kid that, I think, actually fancies it.

Let's make no mistake though, if Danny performs as we know he can and if he has his proper professional fight head on he should win this.

But if he makes the mistake and tries to be brash and flash he could end up losing on points like he did with Michael Sprott.

But I get the feeling Danny knows he is in the last-chance saloon. He will be up for this because as I say, he feels he is the best in Britain.

He can be a little temperamental, but seems to have sorted his training out and I am expecting him to box well.

Commitment

That means McDermott is going to have to be clever and cagey. He needs to make a confident start but if he comes charging out, Danny will just pick him off all night long.

But he is a strong kid who can box a bit. There's no doubt that he's never been tested like this, never been stretched at level so we will all find out what his desire and commitment are made of. But he is an honest fighter and will give it all he's got.

I also have a feeling that McDermott could do better than he has done so far. To me, he has under-performed so far in his career. I don't think he is mature enough emotionally compared to his body and if he going to well, he will need to learn from this step up.

I do expect Danny to win. McDermott has to stay tight and he needs to be clever and there is always the potential for an upset. But I can see Williams' superior skills chopping him down around the 10th.

If that happens, another crack at a world title is not beyond the realms of possibility, but in all honesty, I jsut can't see it.

I think David Haye will be the man in the heavyweight division, not Danny Williams. Although Mike Tyson is a great scalp to have on your CV, Danny is way down the list in regards to opponents, their profile and the money they generate on TV.

But when it comes to British title fights and Sky Sports, he rarely lets us down.
