This is the final week and only days away from the fight.

I rested over the weekend ahead of the fight, which was good.

I took time out to go over to the MGM Grand and take in a UFC fight featuring Randy Couture against Brock Lesner for the UFC heavyweight title.

It was a great fight, often brutal in parts. This is the first UFC event I have attended and I've got to say, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The UFC really know how to put a show on.

They played music and showed fighter profiles on large screen TV before each fight. I think boxing can learn from the UFC.

Lovemore N'dou called in the gym today after his close defeat by Kermit Cintron on Saturday night.

I have also been joined by my dad Ray and some of my friends.

The former British flyweight champion Micky Cantwell and his son also called by the gym. It's always nice to see a familiar face.

We're obviously locked away in the house and gym most of the time, but I have been told that the hotels and casinos are starting to get busy with Brits.

In these hard times it is great to know people have followed me over here again. It means a lot to me, it really does.
