Speaking to Craig Slater at the Zoom charity event, Alexander Rossi reveals he's in daily talks about a seat for the 2016 season

Alexander Rossi says it is "looking positive" he will return to the F1 grid in 2016 and is holding talks every day.

The American drove for Manor in five grands prix towards the tail end of last season, having previously driven in one practice session for the team and four for Caterham.

"Talks are every day. I think the deadline is really when cars roll in Barcelona in a couple of weeks," Rossi told Sky Sports News HQ.

"Things sometimes get pushed out in this sport and it is something I am used to and hopefully it doesn't go on to much longer. Things are looking positive and hopefully we get it done very soon."
