Five races to put you in the mood for Montreal
Last Updated: 01/06/13 12:04pm
At 8pm each night between Sunday and Thursday you can catch the action, starting with the 1991 race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, where only five drivers completed the race distance and Nigel Mansell made an extraordinary faux pas on the final lap.
On Monday you can see Jean Alesi's only F1 win when he took the number 27 Ferrari made famous by Gilles Villeneuve to victory on the circuit named after the Canadian.
Lewis Hamilton's maiden success features on Tuesday as the McLaren driver took pole position and the win in only his sixth Formula 1 race in 2007.
Another race to see a first time winner followed the following season and you can see Robert Kubica's triumph for BMW Sauber on Wednesday night.
Rounding of the build-up the Canadian GP is the longest race in F1 history, where in mixed conditions, Jenson Button fought through from last at one point to pass Sebastian Vettel on the final lap and take victory.
