Sky Sports F1 expert Johnny Herbert expects Lewis Hamilton to win Sunday's 'Duel in the Desert' but still miss out on a fourth world drivers' title.

Hamilton heads into Sunday's season-finale in Abu Dhabi 12 points adrift of team-mate Nico Rosberg.

The German can win his first drivers' title even if Hamilton tops the podium on Sunday and he finishes third at the Yas Marina Circuit.

But Hamilton is the man in form and after three successive victories F1 analyst Herbert is tipping the Briton at 8/13 with Sky Bet to go all out for victory again this weekend.

He said: "Lewis has nothing to lose this week and will be going all out to win the race, what else can he do.

"Will it win him the Championship? I doubt it, I can see Nico doing enough to take that and he'll be more than happy to take second place and win the title.

"For Lewis it's important that he goes out on a high after winning the last three races from pole, expect a fourth win in a row."

Herbert is also backing Force India's Sergio Perez to maintain his good form in the desert and secure a top six finish - an 11/10 shot with the online bookmaker.

The Mexican was ninth in Abu Dhabi in 2013, seventh in 2014 and fifth last year and heads into the final race of the season in good form.

He said: "Sergio's form suggests that he goes well here and he's getting better. Will he be third in 2016 to complete the sequence? I doubt that be a top six place is certainly within his reach to cap off an excellent season for him and Force India."

Herbert's final bet of the season is for Carlos Sainz to secure a points finish at 11/8.

He added: "Carlos is another who has had a fine season and despite the lack of power from the 2015 Ferrari engine, the Toro Rosso is capable of a top 10 place and you'd certainly back the Spaniard to achieve that."
