Formula 1 returns this weekend with the promise of a more competitive multi-team fight for honours after an intriguing fortnight of winter testing.
"What we've seen from Barcelona is that the margins at the front of the field have shrunk," said Mercedes chief Toto Wolff after his triple champions trailed Ferrari on the pre-season timesheets.
