Fernando Alonso finished fifth in final practice for the Indianapolis 500 as the teams honed their set-ups for Sunday's race.
Alonso clocked a best lap average speed of 226.608 mph, 0.1342 mph slower than pacesetter Helio Castroneves of Team Penske.
The McLaren Honda Andretti driver completed 32 laps in total and led the session for a long period as he continued to impress despite his 'rookie' tag.
The Spaniard has qualified fifth for the race and will line-up in the middle of the second row on Sunday afternoon.
The final hour-long session saw the drivers practising running in packs and dirty air, with team's such as Alonso's Andretti-run squad and Team Penske utilising their large entry numbers to simulate race conditions.
Alonso showed he wasn't shy about overtaking as he produced a number of passes during the session.

Running, though, was interrupted on a number of occasions for track inspections after cut tyres were spotted, before James Hinchcliffe suffered what appeared to be an engine failure leading to a long caution period.

As for the British contingent, Max Chilton was 21st (224.625 mph), Jay Howard 22nd (224.541 mph), Ed Jones 23rd (224.541 mph), Jack Harvey 28th (223.222 mph) and Pippa Mann 29th (223.062 mph).
