The Race of Champions returns to Sky Sports F1 this weekend as some of the world's best drivers do battle in Miami.

The event sees the drivers compete in head-to-head races on a purpose built track inside the Miami Marlins Park baseball stadium in identical machinery, in theory making it a test of driver skill rather than car capability.

The United Kingdom will be represented by Jenson Button and David Coulthard, and they are joined by fellow F1 stars Sebastian Vettel, Felipe Massa and Juan Pablo Montoya.

The format of the event has changed slightly from its previous running in London with the individual event taking place on Saturday's opening day of competition.

You can see who emerges victorious from 4:55pm on Sky Sports F1.

That will be followed by a new event for 2017 which will follow a Ryder Cup-style points system.

The six USA drivers will unite to take on the drivers from the rest of the world in an extreme driving challenge, with individual line-ups decided in advance by the team captains. Competing across a maximum of three rounds and 10 races, the winning team will be the first to amass eight points.

Round A features six races, each of which is worth one point to the winning driver's team. Round B has just three races but with two points for a victory. If needed Round C will feature a final, single race showdown to decide the inaugural champions.
