It was a season of change at Chelsea, with Luis Felipe Scolari starting in at the helm, Guus Hiddink taking temporary charge and Carlo Ancelotti agreeing to take over - starting on July 1. Beset by injuries early on, the Blues fell off the pace in the Premier League and were always playing catch-up and were further enraged as they crashed out of the Champions League semi-finals on an infamous night at Stamford Bridge. But they were not to be denied at least one piece of silverware and scooped the FA Cup in a fitting farewell to Hiddink. Here, Chelsea FanZoner Dan Quarterman picks his best - and worst - of the campaign...

PLAYER OF THE SEASON: Tough one, but for me Ashley Cole just shades it over Super Frank Lampard.

BIGGEST WASTE OF SPACE: Phil Scolari! Player wise-though, probably Ricardo Quaresma

BEST MATCH OF THE SEASON: Liverpool away in the Champions League quarter-final, although the defensive performance in the Nou Camp was something special.

WORST THING ABOUT YOUR CLUB: Ticket prices being too high and pricing out the real football fan in favour of the corporate and foreign fans.

TARGETS FOR 09/10: To achieve stability with the new manager in charge and FINALLY win the Champions League.
