City win a late corner. Navas takes, Kolarov gets his head to it, but it goes behind for a goal kick.
City now desperately trying to get up the other end on the counter-attack, but it ends with a goal kick.
Villa attempting to catch City on the break at every turn now, but still the Citizens defence has it covered.
Manchester City statistically dominating with 66% possession, but they're making some mistakes in the final third now.
But they are pushing forward. Navas' cross is blocked away by former teammate Luna before Jovetic has a double effort saved by Guzan.

A nearly moment for Villa as Kozak wins the ball off Fernandinho in midfield, but fails to put Weimann through on goal, before Dzeko fires his effort high over the bar at the other end.
Villa need to do better with their counter-attack's if they want to capitalise at some stage during the match, breaking down to easily thus far.
The corner is taken short, but the cross in is easily dealt with and cleared. City try the cross into the area again, but the ball is just too high for Nastasic to get his head to.

Kompany and Nastasic anchor the defence, with a midfield four of Nasri, Fernandinho, Toure and Milner, while Dzeko and Negredo will be leading the line.
Team news for Villa; only Kozak, Vlaar, Baker, Bacuna, Sylla and El Ahmadi survive from the side that lost to Spurs in midweek, with Clark, Weimann, Luna, Delph and Guzan coming into the starting line-up, while there is no place for Agbonlahor in the side today. Benteke, of course, not in action as he recovers from his hip injury.

City, meanwhile, have won their last three matches in all competitions, scoring 12 goals along the way, and moved up to third spot in the Premier League standings following a 4-1 hammering of cross-town rivals Manchester United last weekend.
Villa have been in inconsistent form of late and come into the game in 13th position in the league, needing a good showing following a 4-0 midweek defeat to Tottenham. Manager Paul Lambert welcomes back Gabriel Agbonlahor, Fabian Delph, Ciaran Clark and Antonio Luna, all of whom missed Wednesday's defeat to Spurs.
