The replay shows Figueroa was falling over when it hits his arm so it wasn't intentional and a penalty would have been harsh.
Milner does well to skin Boyce and cross from the left byline. It seems to hit Figueroa on the hand and the crowd call for a penalty but the ref waves on.
Villa take the throw in and Gardner does well to control the ball near the byline. His cross goes out and he claims Koumas has fouled him by the ref waves on for a goal kick.

Fancy a bet? Sky Bet now go evens for a Villa win, 11/8 the draw and 4/1 for a Wigan win. I'm going to stick to my 2-1 Villa prediction, although the draw seems most likely at present, or even Wigan sneaking a win if O'Neill does not change things around to break the Latics down. HALF-TIME. It is a close game, with few chances, although three opportunities came late on. Hopefully it should open out for in the second period but Steve Bruce will be feeling pleased with himself so far in negating Villa's attacking threat.

Heskey passes from the centre of the park towards Barry to the right of the box but it is just too far in front of the player and goes out for a goal kick. Unlucky.
