Accrington v Wycombe preview

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Accrington Stanley and Wycombe Wanderers at the Crown Ground.

Stanley boss James Beattie is likely to name an unchanged XI for the third successive game as they seek to move out of the League Two relegation places. Accrington are currently on a four-game unbeaten run and have emerged victorious from their last two with Beattie finally winning a league game as a manager at the 13th time of asking. Should the former England international decide to make changes, though, he has on-loan Rotherham striker Kayode Odejayi back from a three-match suspension while fellow forward George Bowerman is still waiting to make his first start since signing on a free. Central defender Rob Atkinson (hamstring) is out again while George Miller (ankle), Laurence Wilson (groin) and Michael Liddle (ankle) are all highly doubtful, even though the latter two are back in training. Wycombe will be without experienced midfielder Matt Bloomfield when they make the trip to Accrington. Bloomfield picked up the first red card of his 10-year career against Bury last weekend and having reviewed the tackle the Chairboys decided against an appeal. Manager Gareth Ainsworth will now be without Bloomfield for the next three games but he has been boosted by the return to fitness of two strikers. Dean Morgan and Steven Craig both played the opening half of Tuesday's 1-0 friendly win over QPR after spells on the sidelines and are ready to compete for starts against James Beattie's men.
