Sappleton nets equaliser for visitors after Soares opener
Ricky Sappleton's late strike salvaged a deserved 1-1 draw for Bournemouth at Football League new-boys Aldershot.
The home side took the lead after 63 minutes when Marvin Morgan picked out Louis Soares' run into the box.
Soares took the ball on and fired a left-foot shot past Shwan Jalal at the near post to give Aldershot the advantage.
Cherries boss Kevin Bond threw Sappleton on for Sammy Igoe as his side went all out to salvage at least a point and it was the substitute who brought the visitors back into the game.
The on-loan Leicester forward collected the ball on the edge of the area and drilled his effort into the top corner to bring the visitors level with nine minutes left.
