You have voted for the best player to wear a Tranmere shirt and the winner is.... Ian Muir.
We asked fans of each of the 92 English League teams and Scottish Premier League sides to nominate their all-time favourite footballers and Muir topped the poll.
Prolific striker John Aldridge came in second while popular goalkeeper John Achterberg was third in the voting.
Prolific striker Ian Muir remains a legendary figure at Prenton Park and is a deserving recipient of the club's All-Time Greats crown.
Muir powered his way to the top of Rovers' goalscoring charts during his 10-year spell with the Wirral outfit and is still in possession of the record to this day.
In total, the Coventry-born forward bagged 180 goals for the club - 142 in the league and 38 in cup action - a tally which has not been topped since his departure.
Muir arrived at Tranmere in July 1985 as a relative unknown, having failed to make a mark at QPR before brief spells with Burnley, Birmingham, Brighton and Swindon.
His partnership with Jim Steele under manager John King helped Rovers climb from England's basement division into the second tier, while the duo were both on target in the 1990 Leyland DAF final victory over Bristol Rovers at Wembley.
Muir was unable to continue his goalscoring prowess away from the club and, following a £125,000 return to Birmingham in June 1995, he slipped back into obscurity.
Despite his performances elsewhere, Muir will always be held in the highest regard by Tranmere fans who regard him as a natural born scorer.
John Aldridge is often remembered as much for his managerial achievements with Rovers, but it was as a player that he initially carved out a place in the club's history.
The former Liverpool and Real Sociedad striker continued to demonstrate his lethal finishing prowess on his return from Spain and stands only six goals behind Muir on the club's all-time scorers list.
Goalkeeper John Achterberg was a key member of Aldridge's giant-killing Tranmere side of the late 90s and early part of this decade.
The Dutchman, who now runs his own coaching courses, helped Rovers to memorable cup victories over Fulham, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Bolton, Everton and Southampton with some stunning saves.
The winner: Ian Muir
Aldridge: Second prize
Achterberg: Third place
