Arsenal 2 Crystal Palace 1. Late drama at the Emirates as Ramsey earns all three points for the Gunners. Palace unfortunate, but must now turn their attention back to the appointment of a new manager.
Ward delivers. Under the crossbar and Szczesny can't gather. He is, however, bundled into by Chamakh and a free-kick is given. That should be about it.
Wenger's men haven't been at their best, but now look like collecting all three points. Palace looking for a leveller, but Ward can't catch up with a ball down the left. He wins a throw, and Chamakh a corner. Last chance for the visitors.
Arsenal now looking to keep hold of the ball and play down the final few seconds. Having got their noses in front, they don't want any more late drama.
Heartbreak for Palace. They looked to have done enough, but are now down to 10 men and staring defeat in the face. Set-pieces were such a big thing under Pulis as well.
GOAL ARSENAL - RAMSEY. Surely a winner for the hosts. Set-piece yet again. The initial corner is seen out, but fed back out to Oxlade-Chamberlain. His cross is met by Koscielny and turned on by Giroud. Debuchy's close-ranger shot is beaten out, but Ramsey is on hand to bundle home.
Hangeland Jedinak get in each other's way and end up putting the ball behind for a corner. Jedinak now struggling with cramp. Change being made before the set-piece. Bolasie making way for O'Keefe.
Monreal caught late by Puncheon. A loose pass invited the Palace man into a challenge. He slid in and caught Monreal on the ankle. Second booking and he is sent off.
Debuchy down the right for Giroud. He is forced backwards by Delaney. Arsenal looking for a yard. They can't find one and settle for a throw. Oxlade-Chamberlain can cross this time, but straight into Speroni at the near post.
Cazorla again dwelling on the ball and losing it. The crowd were urging him to shoot, but he kept looking for another touch. No need as the space was there. Palace fail to counter through Bolasie.
Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to force over a cross from the right. He gets it all wrong as the ball bobbles behind. Arsenal may need to write this off as a bad day at the office, take a point and move on.
Campbell's debut comes to an end as he makes way for Gayle. Another willing runner up top for Palace, and one who is prepared to track back and help to see this out.
Monreal calling for the ball. When he gets it, he goes backwards. Arsenal need to up the tempo. Alexis tries to do just that. He finds Giroud inside the box. From a tight angle, he drills across the face of goal.
Another Arsenal move breaks down as Chambers strides out and looks for Oxlade-Chamberlain. A lapse in concentration results in Palace winning a throw. Home support not too impressed.
Monreal looking for Giroud, but plays a pass beyond him. Palace struggling to get out again. A lot of tired minds and tired legs out there now.
Not happening for Arsenal, or for Cazorla. The Spanish schemer has seen plenty of the ball, but has done little productive with it. Another wayward pass leaves his boot and skids out for a throw.
Expect Arsenal to keep looking left to Alexis now that Kelly is struggle. Palace may need to get him off. Down the middle at the moment, with Palace sitting off the hosts. Arteta looks right, but Oxlade-Chamberlain can only glance down the line and out of play.
Alexis exchanges passes in midfield. Again he is forced out to the left, and again he puts far too much onto his delivery into the middle. Kelly has gone down with cramp.
Alexis over the free-kick, wide on the Arsenal left. Not the best. Neither a cross nor a shot. He looks to bend the ball towards the back post but gets far too much on it and sends it spinning over the top.
Kelly the latest to have his name taken. Clever from Alexis as he gets to the ball first, dinks it over Kelly's leg and takes a hefty challenge.
Monreal away from one challenge and finding Alexis. The ball breaks back the Spaniard's way and he feeds a low cross to the front post. Giroud looking to get across his man, but unable to get a touch.
Dann nursing a thigh complaint. Play back underway, with Ward breaking dowm the left. Bolasie tries to offer support, but ends up blocking the ball behind for a goal kick. Palace make their change, with Delaney entering the fold.
Dann trudging off. Home support believe he could move a little quicker. Keith Millen calling for reinforcements. There isn't one ready yet. Palace down to 10 for the time being. Dann won't continue.
Alexis now popping up on the left. He bends over a cross. Giroud goes down in the middle, but is waved to his feet. He was never getting anywhere near the delivery. Dann has gone down and will require treatment.
Alexis tees up Ramsey 25 yards out. He sets himself early and is always looking to bend the ball into the bottom corner. Speroni barely troubled by the eventual shot. Only the sixth effort on target in the game. Goalkeepers not worked enough.
Koscielny forced wide on the left, but firing a clever pass into Cazorla. He wants to take a touch and wins a corner. Chamakh there again for Palace. He works so hard for the collective cause.
Wenger has played all of his cards now, and there are still 20 minutes remaining. Palace still have fresh legs on their bench. On the field, Alexis is met by the by-line by Hangeland and has to settle for a corner. He takes himself, and Chamakj nods out.
Alexis works a yard of space 25 yards out. Operating centrally a lot more now. He played a neat one-two and then drilled goalwards. Shot lacks power and Speroni can fall on it with ease. Arsenal readying another change. Wilshere makes way for Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Card coming out this time for Chamakh. He is cautioned for a shoulder charge on Wilshere. Too much weight put into the challenge. Arteta over the free-kick. Taken short.
Arteta trying to dictate from deep. Ball finds Wilshere, drifting inside onto his right foot. An ambitious shot cannons off the back of Cazorla and through to Speroni. Groans in the stands.
Cazorla off the left and into Alexis. He can't get a foot on the ball and concedes a free-kick in his desperation to win it back off Chamakh. Not a lot of contact, but enough. Speroni playing the clock again.
Monreal breaking in behind. Kelly switched off, but Dann didn't and comes over to prod behind. Cazorla over the corner. Ball nodded clear in the middle and Monreal concedes a free-kick.
Sloppy from Arsenal now as they play another wayward pass through to Speroni. They are soon back on the ball, with Cazorla bundled over by Chamakh. Former Arsenal man gets a talking to. Last chance for him before the book comes out.
Puncheon keeps a loose pass in play, but then gives it away. Arsenal clip over the top, but straight through to Speroni. Handball shout a moment ago was against Chamakh. He leaned in towards the ball just inside the box. Tough to say whether it was chest or arm. Can't give those.
Second change made by Arsenal. Wenger turns to Giroud, with Sanogo the man to make way. Another handball shout, against Palace this time. Referee ignores it on the edge of the box.
Chamakh with good strength 25 yards out. He tries to find Campbell and claims a clipped pass struck Koscielny's arm. Nothing given. Arsenal push out. Debuchy bombing down the right, but Hangeland steps over to cover.
Ramsey with a poor square pass. Cazorla, who was unable to reach the ball, stretches to try and win it back off Ledley and catches the Palace midfielder. He is booked for his troubles.
Cazorla's free-kick is glanced behind for a corner by Kelly. Two Palace defenders getting in each other's way. Set-piece from Alexis is poor. Low delivery hacked out in the middle. Palace go long, but Campbell and Bolasie are well covered.
Arsenal have their substitutes out warming up. More changes could by imminent. On the field, Kelly concedes a free-kick wide on the right. Opportunity for Arsenal to put in a dangerous delivery.
Brilliant from Hangeland as he nicks the ball of Cazorla and finds Campbell. Ball fed wide to Puncheon, who cuts inside off the right. He goes for goal, but sees his shot blocked. Chamakh gathers and finds Puncheon again. Second effort is straight at Szczesny.
Debuchy drills long. Hangeland nudges into the back of Sanogo, who wins a free-kick on halfway. Taken short and square. Arsenal look right again, but there is no space on the flanks.
Debuchy down the right, but going back to Alexis. He digs a cross out on to the head of Jedinak. Ball drops towards Ward, who is barged in the air by Alexis. Opportunity for Palace to clear their lines.
Jedinak pokes through towards Campbell, but Koscielny steps in front of the Palace striker. Chamakh concedes a free-kick on halfway. Alexis bundles his way forward, but is seen out again by Ward.
Koscielny square from the back to Debuchy. He feeds into the feet of Alexis, who is bundled off the ball. Palace don't have anyone forward. Gibbs has been forced to concede defeat and is replaced by Monreal.
Wilshere looking frustrated. Arsenal haven't had things all their own way. Palace have worked hard to ensure that playmakers aren't given any time to take a pass and get their head up.
Gibbs now informing the Arsenal bench that he is okay for now. Monreal was being readied. Wilshere caught on the ball in midfield. Dann then puts in an important challenge on the edge of the box.
Cazorla leading another charge, but again he wants too many touches before making a decision. He hasn't got the pace to run away from defenders and needs to spot an option much quicker. Gibbs struggling, holding his hamstring.
Puncheon shown a yellow card for a late challenge. Palace have a throw on their right. Kelly able to dig out a hanging cross. Bolasie gathers on the opposite flank. He battles away with Alexis and wins a free-kick. Taken quickly. Bolasie inside Debuchy, but Chambers meets a dipping cross.
Bolasie sees a low cross deflected behind for a corner, which he will take himself. Delivery to the near post, where it is touched on by Gibbs. Arsenal can clear from in front of their own goal and counter at pace. Cazorla takes too long on the ball and Palace can now break.
Campbell has Puncheon running off him, but breaking into traffic. Virtually impossible to pick him out with a slide-rule pass down the middle. Arsenal regain control of the football. Alexis loses it on the right and Bolasie can break.
No changes at the interval by either side. Arsenal start back into their passing game. Wenger will have called on them to pose more of a threat in the final third. Palace sitting very deep.
Chris Green says: "What was Wenger thinking in selecting the inexperienced Sanago ahead of the prolific Giroud? Sanogo simply isn't the answer to breaking the visitors' resolute defence."
Manraj Sandhu says: "Really didn't expect Palace to score first! Still think that Arsenal to win but Sanogo off Cambell on for more pace."

Arsenal 1 Crystal Palace 1. All square at the interval. Two headers from set-pieces and there is still all to play for at the Emirates.
Cazorla swings the set-piece towards the penalty spot. Koscielny up highest again, but unable to make telling contact.
Arsenal looking for another. All very congested inside the Palace box. Ball breaks to Ramsey on the by-line, and he can force a corner.
GOAL ARSENAL - KOSCIELNY. All square. Alexis has his heels clipped by Kelly. Chilean takes the set-piece himself, whipping a delivery into the box. Koscielny runs in behind Hangeland and nods into the bottom corner.
Chamakh glancing on to Campbell. Flag up for offside. Palace prevent the quick free-kick. Wenger getting his jacket back on. Doesn't look happy. Words of inspiration required at the interval. Not there yet, though, as Wilshere drives forward.
Jedinak doing well to break up play on the edge of the box. He takes a tumble though and a throw is conceded. Sanogo can't bring the ball down inside the box. As Palace look to counter, Chambers cynically drags down Campbell. First yellow card of the game.
Gibbs with a poor pass down the left which is easily read by Kelly. Arsenal looking to force the issue at times. Also a little nervy, which falling behind won't have helped.
Shambles as the vanishing spray first doesn't work and is then sprayed into the face of Cazorla as Jonathan Moss sorts himself out. Eventually the free-kick is taken and easily cleared. Ball return to the box is met by Speroni.
Gibbs concedes a free-kick wide on the left flank. Arsenal giving Palace the opportunity to break things up and frustrate. Wilshere then wins a free-kick the other way. Debuchy flying down the right again. Puncheon across to meet him and a nudge in the back is all that is required to send Debuchy over and win a free-kick in a promising position.
Palace taking their time with a throw. Wenger not happy, askign questions of the referee. On the field, Koscielny feeds a dangerous back-pass to Szczesny. Arsenal keeper makes a return pass that Campbell is inches away from cutting out.
Ramsey moves the ball onto his right foot on the angle of the box. Palace prepared to put their bodies on the line as another flying block comes in. Wenger off the bench, but soon retreating to it. Appears slightly bemused by the whole situation.
Cazorla over the set-piece. Poor as Kelly meets it at the near post. Ball back to Cazorla, but second delivery is no better than the first. Arsenal have height in the middle through Sanogo and Chambers but need to give them a chance to compete - as Puncheon did with Hangeland.
Debuchy over-runs the ball on halfway. Arsenal win it back immediately. Cazorla drifting right. He cuts back inside onto his left foot and tries his luck from distance. A low drive flicks behind for a corner.
Goal has arrived very much against the run of the play, but Arsenal haven't created much. Palace were always going to be looking for a smash and grab today. How will the hosts respond?
GOAL PALACE - HANGELAND. Corner fed into the near post by Puncheon. Hangeland with a clever run that takes him away from Koscielny. A glancing header flashes past Szczesny and into the back of the net.
Chambers invited forward from the back. He gifts the ball to Jedinak. He slides the ball forward, forcing Szczesny out of his area. Not the best clearance and Koscielny has to meet Chamakh's long-range effort. Arsenal man then dives in on Campbell inside the box, but doesn't catch him. Corner to Palace.
Arteta hassled by Chamakh on halfway, before being tripped by Campbell. Again, he was looking for options ahead of him and couldn't see any. Palace well organised at the back.
Cazorla fells Campbell inside the centre circle. Free-kick taken short by Dann to Kelly. He heads out to right and runs at Gibbs. He heads towards the by-line, but finds he has run out of space and can't force over a cross.
Alexis catches Chamakh. Another breather for Palace as Speroni trots out to take the free-kick. Long ball met by Chambers. Arsenal youngster does really well on three occasions as the ball keeps dropping his way.
Cazorla's corner is not the best. It is dropped low towards the front post. Alexis has to dive to get anything on it and sees an attempted glancing header drift wide of the goal. Referee hurrying Speroni this time as he stands over another goal kick.
Debuchy leads an Arsenal break. He has plenty of options square. He looks for Ramsey, who fails to take the ball with him. Hosts try again down their left. Possession moved from side to side as Palace drag numbers back. Wilshere finds a yard of space 25 yards out and sees a shot which bounces in front of Speroni parried behind.
Arsenal fans not happy about how long Speroni is taking with goal kicks. Ball soon heading back towards the Palace keeper. He has to clear with Alexis closing fast. Palace force a free-kick close to halfway. Dann clips forward, but the visitors can't get anything going in the final third.
Sanogo wins the ball well 30 yards out. He drives towards the box and tries an ambitious drive despite having options right and left. He scuffs the shot badly and sees it slip well wide of the target.
Bolasie tries to run the ball out, but fails. Looked to take a kick to the shins, but gets nothing. Throw to Arsenal down their right. Ball fed infield. Ramsey stood arms out calling for support and movement.
Ramsey was down holding his head, but is now back up and back in position to defend a throw. Ward into Chamakh and gets the ball back. His cross is half-blocked. Arsenal smuggle the ball back and edge back up towards halfway.
Alexis cutting inside. Ward goes with him and the pair end up in a heap on the floor. Decision goes Palace's way. Looked to be 50-50 and a tangling of legs. Speroni goes long. Ball won't stick for the visitors. They are, however, able to run Wilshere towards his own goal.
Alexis running at Ward, and skipping past him. Good movement, but cross lets him down. Far too strong and drifts over the heads of those in the middle. Palace taking their time again as they prepare a throw. Working without the ball for this long isn't easy - very tiring.
Cazorla out to Debuchy on the right. He drifts a cross from deep towards Sanogo. Hangeland up above the Arsenal striker. Chamakh again, for the third time, wasteful in possession. He isn't helping his defensive colleagues at the moment.
Campbell surrounded by four red shirts as he looks to control on his chest 25 yards from goal. He needs support around him to take away some of the markers. Palace remain on the ball, though, and enjoy a rare spell of possession.
Wilshere looking for Gibbs down the left. Good tracking back by Puncheon as he gets between the Arsenal man and the ball and watches it run behind for a goal kick. Speroni taking an age with returning the ball into play.
Wilshere caught in possession by Ledley. He goes right to Kelly, who overlaps past Puncheon. Arsenal working just as hard without the ball and are hunting in packs. Ward ends up allowing the ball to run under his boot on halfway.

Wilshere bending a pass towards Sanogo. Hangeland aware of the run and able to cut the ball out. Palace can't string passes together. Chamakh giving possession away again close to his own box. Risky business.
Alexis down the middle this time. He spots Speroni slightly off his line and has few options as three defenders close on him. A low shot flicks up into the air and wide of the target.
Gibbs well forward down the left. Kelly sticking with him, but at the expense of a corner. Cazorla over to take from the left. Outswinging delivery flicked on by the heel of Sanogo, but then hacked to safety.
Cazorla with a clever dinked pass over the top of the Palace defence. Ramsey has made the run, but he can't get there in time, Speroni able to gather on the bounce. Ramsey so good at breaking between players - leaving them unsure who is picking him up.
Arteta inadvertently flicks on. Palace go left to Bolasie. He has support, with Ledley squaring for Jedinak. Better from Palace. Puncheon feeds over a dipping cross from the right which lands in the arms of Szczesny. Arsenal counter and Alexis wins a throw by the corner flag.
Chamakh dwelling on the ball inside his own half and has his pocket picked by Wilshere. Campbell gets him off the hook as he nicks the ball back and is sent sprawling by Arteta. Free-kick on halfway. Palace end up back at the feet of Speroni.
Debuchy into space on the right once more. Cross drops just behind Sanogo, who sticks out a leg but fails to make contact. Again, Palace fail to clear their lines. Arsenal dominating possession in the middle of the park.
Arteta collects deep for the hosts and looks wide. Palace have all bases covered. Ball into Alexis, but it runs away from him. Visitors need to retain possession better as they look for Bolasie on the left but send a pass straight out of play.
Sanogo muscled out by Jedinak 25 yards from goal. Palace can't get out. The ball ricochets around the box and out to Ramsey. His snap shot from 20 yards out is bravely blocked. Wilshere then unable to trick his way into the area.
Wilshere played the ball into Ramsey's feet. He looked to turn inside the area, but span into Dann. Nothing in the challenge and definitely no penalty. Palace unable to piece together an attack and soon find themselves on the back foot once more.
Space for Ramsey to turn in between the Palace lines. Enough yellow shirts back to hold Arsenal up. Ball played right to Debuchy. Alexis takes over. Some nifty footwork and Ramsey is freed into the box. He goes down, but is waved back to his feet.
Cazorla has gone down holding his back. He is beckoning for medical support. He hit the ground hard after challenging for a high ball with Chamakh. Not as bad as first feared as he is soon back on his feet and able to continue.
Arteta able to take a goal kick on his boot. Arsenal this time look to break quickly, but Ward does well to keep Alexis under wraps and concede a throw.
Alexis felled by Hangeland close to halfway. Free-kick taken square. Arsenal move through midfield. Palace have 11 men behind the ball. Patient build-up from the hosts, moving from side to side. Ball over the top for Debuchy is over-hit and skids behind.
Speroni drills long from a goal kick. Chamakh touches on, but can't find Campbell. Gibbs with a wild clearance that he punts across the pitch and out for a throw. Palace into the feet of Bolasie. Debuchy shows good strength to hold him up.
Arsenal looking to get their passing game going early. Palace looking to close quickly and give them little time on the ball. Alexis positioned wide on the right at the moment, linking up well with Debuchy. The full-back's cross is deflected up into the air and cleared.
Palace straight on the attack. Bolasie able to burst into space and dart towards the box. He has Campbell moving off him, but a pass slid into the area has too much on it and Szczesny can gather.
