Bale does really well to fashion himself a chance in the Dortmund box but the angle isn't kind and it's beyond him.
Mkhitaryan pokes a ball through as Dortmund start to crank it up again, but nobody anticipates that one and the danger passes.
Alonso is very lucky to be still on the field after conceding another foul. In fact the referee doesn't even give the free-kick to Dortmund but that's a poor decision.

Michael says: "I think Madrid still have this. Bale will still get a goal in this match. I see a draw in this match."
The referee blows his whistle to signal half-time and it's 2-0 Dortmund at the break and it's now just 2-3 on aggregate. Since Weidenfeller saved Di Maria's penalty it's been all Dortmund and that man Reus has been superb, his two goals capping a fine first-half performance.

Brilliant save from Roman Weidenfeller! Di Maria strikes it well despite sliding as he kicks the ball but Weidenfeller dives to his left to make the save.
Nice touch from di Maria to Benzema - silky. It's very easy for Madrid so far and they look relaxed as a unit. Dortmund have been pretty pedestrian in the early stages and they need to inject some energy into their display.
