Team news for Tuesday night's Carling Cup first-round clash between Barnsley and Morecambe.

Barnsley manager Keith Hill is expected to make several unforced changes to his starting line-up. Hill's side drew 0-0 in their opening league game at Nottingham Forest, where six players made their Tykes debuts - defenders Rob Edwards and Scott Wiseman, midfielders David Perkins and Miles Addison and strikers Craig Davies and Ricardo Vaz Te. Hill has no new injury or suspension worries, but has hinted at giving those players who did not get game time on Saturday a run out against the Shrimps. Former Bolton striker Vaz Te stepped off the substitutes' bench at the weekend and could start, while winger Jim O'Brien and defenders Bobby Hassell and Jim McNulty are all hoping to feature. Defender Matt Done, a summer signing from Rochdale, hopes to be included after failing to make the squad on Saturday. Morecambe boss Jim Bentley has no new injury or suspension concerns. Winger Kevin Ellison missed the entire pre-season programme after pulling his hamstring whilst doing his own personal training. He remains sidelined for another week at least while Paul Scott's latest knee surgery could keep him on the sidelines for six months. Scott, who can operate in defence or midfield, joined the Shrimps from Bury last summer but has been hampered by a knee problem and has already undergone several operations. Bentley's first match in charge of the Shrimps since succeeding Sammy McIlroy was marked by a 1-0 home defeat against Barnet on the opening day of the season.
