    Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his second brace of the season as Paris St Germain ran out 2-0 winners against a gutsy Bastia side.

    The hosts looked like holding out for a point following a largely uneventful 70 minutes before the talismanic Sweden international popped up with two efforts in an 11-minute spell, notching his 13th and 14th goals in just 12 Ligue 1 matches.

    A fourth successive league win for Laurent Blanc's men continued their unbeaten start to the season while stretching the champions' lead to eight points at the summit.

    There was little to shout about for either side in the opening 45 minutes but Gael Danic did have a decent opportunity for the hosts when some sloppy defending allowed him a run at goal, but the alert Salvatore Sirigu came out to deny the former Lyon man.

    PSG's only response of note came when Maxwell picked out Ibrahimovic with a decent cross but the visitors' number 10 volleyed into the side-netting of Jean-Louis Leca's goal.

    Soon after the restart Ibrahimovic went one better and thought he had opened the scoring when Edison Cavani's shot was deflected beyond Leca by the Swede but the linesman's flag cut short any celebrations.

    Then, with 71 minutes on the clock, PSG made the breakthrough when a seemingly offisde Cavani latched on to Javier Pastore's pass before teeing up Ibrahimovic to open the scoring from close range.

    And the points were all but wrapped up with just nine minutes left on the clock when Ezequiel Lavezzi and Serge Aurier combined well before the latter's cross was met by Ibrahimovic to wrap up the points.
