Hayden White and Andy Little will remain in Blackpool's squad to face Port Vale in Sky Bet League 1.

Bolton defender White and Preston winger Little both extended their loan deals this week having started the last game of their previous spells in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Burton.

However, Elliot Lee, Will Aimson and Dean Lyness have all returned to their respective parent clubs at the end of their deals.

Neil McDonald's options were already limited by injuries to Jack Redshaw (shin), Martin Paterson (calf), Lloyd Jones (ankle) and Henry Cameron (knee), while Mark Cullen is a doubt after coming off against the Brewers complaining of a tight hamstring.

Vale could have striker Louis Dodds back in action after two games out with a hamstring problem.

Defender Ryan Inniss came through 90 minutes of a reserve-team match on Tuesday as he continued his rehabilitation from a shoulder injury, although he is not set to make his first-team return this weekend.

Midfielder Chris Birchall will be out for a few weeks having undergone surgery on a knee he injured during the 1-0 win over Bury on December 28, but Ajay Leitch-Smith, who came off at half-time in that game, is fit to play on Saturday.
