Bolton 1 Everton 2. The visitors make it through to round five. They left it very late and the Trotters are unfortunate to bow out after more than holding their own.
Fellaini runs the ball to the corner. Clock ticks down and Bolton can do nothing about it. They do get the ball back and spring Ngog clear. His blocked shot falls to Afobe, who lashes over the top.
Everton so close to a third at the very end. Gueye skips inside his man and fires goalwards. His fierce drive cannons off the crossbar and away. That might be it.
Delay to the re-start as the referee has words with a couple of Everton players. Not sure what that is about. Surely this game is over now.
GOAL EVERTON - HEITINGA. Looks like the visitors have snacthed it. Bolton fail to clear their lines from the corner and the ball eventually falls Heitinga's way. He lashes home from 12 yards out.
Spearing pokes the ball up and over the Everton back four. There are runners after it, forcing Howard from his goal. He dives on the ball right on the edge of his box. Calls from the crowd that he slipped out fall on deaf ears. Everton go and win a corner.
Bolton force a very late corner. Great delivery is flicked across the face of goal by Knight. All it needs is a touch, with the goal gaping, but no-one in white has gambled.
Fellaini unable to gather the ball on the edge of the box. Nothing has stuck for him today, with the ball bouncing in all directions off his boots and barnet.
Neville able to meet the free-kick, but heads into the back of Afobe. Neville then gets plenty of abuse from the home support as he takes a throw. Former Manchester United man not too popular in these parts.
Decision goes Bolton's way and Fellaini isn't happy. Waving his arms around and moaning only serves to get him booked.
Final change by Bolton as Ngog is sent on in place of the hard-working Sordell. His effort may have earned the Trotters a replay.
Ream taking no chances as he goes back to Lonergan. His sliced clearance keeps Bolton inside their own half. That is until Alonso spins away from Fellaini. The move soon breaks down.
Spearing forced to go backwards. Alonso then sends the ball down the line for Pratley. He feeds a pass into the feet of Sordell, but he is crowded out inside the penalty area.
Bolton force a corner down their left. The big men trot forward from the back. The delivery is not the worst, but Jagielka powers a header back downfield.
Jelavic makes way for Heitinga in Everton's second change of the afternoon, while Holden is given a great reception as he replaces Vela.
Will we get a winner here. More changes being prepared down below, with both managers planning to mix things up.
Another wayward pass makes its way into the arms of Howard, Bolton knocking on the door, but they can't open it.
Once again Spearing gets too much on his delivery. He is looking to bend the ball towards a runner at the back post, but is getting under the ball too much. Goal kick to Everton.
Spearing's delivery is poor and he floats the ball straight into the hands of Howard. Bolton get the ball back. Fellaini goes with a run from Pratley, before tripping him 35 yards from goal. He escapes a caution.
Bolton moving the ball around well, with Alonso invited forward. Patient build-up from the hosts. Ricketts is then tripped wide on the right. Another opportunity to load the box.
Afobe and Gueye take a tumble, and the decision goes Bolton's way. Lonergan is able to lump the ball forward once more. Sordell is unable to gather. Pienaar sends Baines scampering into space, but once again the final ball lets him down.
Change is made, with Eagles making way for Afobe. Like-for-like, with Bolton looking to keep pressing for a winner.
Ricketts with a terrible pass into Osman, who finds Anichebe. He looks wide to the left. Pienaar is once again able to glide into the box before a challenge arrives. The ball is knocked behind for another corner. Baines' delivery into the near post isn't the best.
Baines in no rush to take a throw, as changes are readied on the sidelines. Dougie Freedman about to show his hand. Can he find a match-winner?
Timely intervention from Ream as Jelavic sniffs around on the edge of the box. He has to poke clear, but can't prevent the ball heading back to a blue jersey.
The first corner comes to nothing, but Everton are able to force a second. Baines whips a delivery into the six-yard box, but finds a Bolton head. Great work from Ricketts as he presses Pienaar and wins a throw. Bolton able to ease the pressure.
Hoof from Osman towards nobody, with Everton pinned in a corner. Bolton have pushed up, but can't help Everton breaking forward. Pienaar moves through the gears and only a smart stop from Lonergan keeps the scores level.
Fellaini gathers 40 yards from goal. A heavy touch denies him an opportunity to get a shot away. Bolton can now spring clear on the counter. Sordell races clear, but sweeps a pass across goal and away from Lee on the far side.
Pienaar able to drift inside onto his right foot, some 20 yards from goal. He looks to bend the ball into the top corner, but curls narrowly wide. Everton now seeing plenty of the ball.
Gueye up before Knight, nodding down for Osman. Fellaini then brought into play. He has been operating very deep today, which shows how well Bolton have done.
Positive again from Alonso, as he glides forward. Bolton get the ball to the edge of the area, but are then squeezed out. They look wide to Pratley, but he sees a misplaced pass run away fromk him and behind.
Loose pass in midfield from Spearing only finds Anichebe. He looks to knock the ball and run, but can't make his way around two white shirts. Everton settle for a throw.
Bolton working so hard to prevent Everton from getting the ball into their box. They are being pegged back inside their own half, but are standing firm. They then get the ball back as it runs behind for a goal kick.
Everton win a free-kick in midfield. Distin plays it short to Baines, who sees his cross headed clear by Knight. Anichebe then gets on the ball, breaks down the left and wins a corner. Baines' set-piece comes to nothing.
Good work by Lonergan as he races off his line to dive on a loose ball before Jelavic can reach it. A good starting position was key for the Bolton goalkeeper there.
Crossed wires between Baines and Pienaar as the former tries to tee up the latter, but sees his team-mate stand still. Bolton able to see out the danger on the edge of their box, before looking to push forward again.
Sordell finds space in behind Jagielka and Distin. He is spotted by Ricketts, but the final ball doesn't have enough height on it and is cut out by Distin.
Bolton back on the front foot, with Eagles being allowed to drift all over the field and try and influence proceedings. He can't on this occasion, but Everton are being forced into a lot of long balls from the back.
Spearing with a positive burst down the Bolton right. He is unable to shake his man, though, and ends up running the ball out of play. Up at the other end, Anichebe fires a shot straight at Jelavic, almost knocking him over.
Space for Alonso on the left. He brings the ball down really well, but then runs into Neville. He tries again, moving the ball sideways across the park. Everton working hard to keep the door closed.
Lonergan with a long clearance, which finds its way to Lee. He can't gather and Everton look to spring into action. Another heavy touch, this time from Jelavic, returns the ball to Lonergan.
Pratley touches the ball around Neville, but stumbles and can't get away. He is able to find Eagles, who tests Howard with a low drive from the edge of the box. Bolton looking the more likely to find a second.
Eagles able to get at Neville, before cutting inside onto his right foot. He looks to stand up a cross for Sordell, but Distin wins the aerial tussle.
Lee sent tumbling 30 yards from goal. Free-kick to Bolton to the right of centre. Decent opportunity to test Howard. Alonso takes, but lifts the ball over the wall and high into the stands.
Sordell turns into space, and finds Pratley. He is unable to get in a cross at the first time of asking, but manages it second time around, Jagielka in the right place again for Everton.
Brilliant from Pienaar as he spins away from two defenders and sends Baines racing to the dead-ball line. He hangs a cross to the back post. Fellaini is able to meet it, but nods back across goal and wide of the post.
Knight sees the ball safely back to Lonergan, with Jelavic breathing down his neck. Bolton struggle to get anything going, losing the ball twice in quick succession in the heart of midfield.
Break in play as we wait for the ball to be returned from the crowd. Bolton back into their stride, working the ball from left to right before looking forward.
Another hacked clearance from Everton, but this time Jelavic is able to make something of it and force a throw. Good work from Bolton as they force the Toffees to go all the way back to Howard.
Distin and Jagielka leave a wayward pass down the middle for one another. Sordell is alive to the opportunity, forcing Distin to slice clear with his right foot.
Everton back out early for the second half. Bolton keep them waiting, but we are now ready for the off once more.

Bolton 1 Everton 1. Honours even at the interval. Tight contest so far with both sides enjoying spells of dominance. Expect both managers to send their sides out looking for a winner after the interval.
Ricketts able to run the ball out for Bolton. He gets a long way before Osman comes across to close him down. Bolton then unable to send Sordell clear through the middle.
Risky pass from Eagles across midfield, which he just about gets away with. Bolton work the ball to their left, but can't find space for a cross. Neville does well again to win the ball back.
Anichebe allowed to get away with what appeared to be a block tackle on Lee. Bolton soon get the ball back. They are looking a lot more confident now and are knocking the ball around well at times.
Baines fires a low cross towards the front post. Anichebe tries to connect, but sees Ream block the ball behind. Baines takes the corner. His delivery is hacked clear by Pratley.
Nicely worked by Bolton as Lee is freed to move through the gears. He looks to go right, before cutting back onto his left foot. From 25 yards out he bends an effort wide of the target.
Acres of space for Baines on the Everton left, but the pass to him isn't the best. He does well to work a yard and whip over a cross. Ream on hand to nod clear for Bolton, who look to counter but can't.
Flag up again as Bolton look to spring in behind, this time against Sordell. Everton are playing a high line, but they are getting it right at the moment...just.
Anichebe has Baines breaking past him down the left flank. He tries to thread a pass behind Ricketts and into space, but gets too much on it and Baines is unable to catch up with the ball before it slips out of play.
Eagles decides to try his luck from distance, and troubles Howard from 35 yards. A swerving, dipping effort has to be parried by the Everton keeper before he can gather at the second attempt.
Fellaini has had a quiet afternoon so far. He is able to get his head to a hanging cross on this occasion, but nods well wide of the target.
Handball shout against Neville falls on deaf ears. Bolton keep the pressure on, with Lee racing into the box. He gets the ball onto his left foot, but can only fire at Howard from a tight angle.
Piennar away from Eagles for a moment, but the Bolton man gets back at him and clips the Everton winger's heels. Free-kick is sent wide to Gueye, but he loses the ball to Alonso.
Eagles unable to bring a long clearance from Lonergan out of the air. Everton now looking to slow things down a bit. They fail as Jelavic concedes a free-kick on halfway.
Osman up above Spearing in midfield. Piennar then sends the ball wide to Mirallas. His whipped delivery from the Everton right finds the head of Anichebe, but he can only glance wide of the post.
Bolton fans feel Eagles is fould by Baines, but Everton get a throw. The Toffees force the ball back to Lonergan, and he has to be quick to get rid of the ball as Pienaar closes him down.
Hurried clearance from Neville finds Knight on halfway. He sends the ball left towards Alonso, who has pushed well forward. Neville watches the ball all the way and sees it behind for a goal kick.
Lee felled by Baines. Bolton look to take the free-kick quickly, but take it too quickly and are called back. Knight decides to fire long, but finds the head of Jagielka.
Bolton suddenly flying as they almost make it two. A flowing move ends up arriving at the feet of Pratley. He shoots first time from the edge of the box, but Howard gets a strong hand to the ball and turns it to safety.
GOAL BOLTON - SORDELL. We are all square again. Pratley does brilliantly to get down the right and fire a cross to the front post. Sordell arrives on cue and fires low past Howard. Game on.
Spearing intot he feet of Sordell on the edge of the box. He looks to turn into the box and goes down under pressure. Nothing given and he is waved to his feet. Not much of a protest from the home team, to be honest.
Anichebe up high above Ricketts, but nods down the line and out of play. Ricketts with no options from the throw, Eventually Eagles comes short. Lack of urgency from Bolton.
Great reverse pass from Ricketts into the run of Pratley. He is able to keep the ball in play after breaking into the box, but can only turn a cross into the side-netting.
Nice feet from Sordell as he breaks through midfield. He is able to thread a pass down the middle for Lee, who is in on goal. The flag goes up and Howard saves Lee effort anyway. Better from the hosts.
Neville throws to Anichebe, who twists and turns on the edge of the box. He tries to bring Baines into play down the left, but over-hits his pass and it rolls out of play.
Spearing over the set-piece. He fires long towards Eagles at the back post. He rises to get a head to the ball, but can't direct his effort goalwards.
Better from Eagles as he battles away with Neville and wins a free-kick. Looked 50-50, but Bolton get the decision, Opportunity to whip a dangerous ball into the box. Eagles does that, and gets himself a corner.
Frustration in the stands as passes go astray. Bolton are, however, awarded a free-kick as Jelavic strays offside. No sign of Freedman on the sidelines to offer instruction.
How will Bolton respond to going behind? They haven't offered much so far and only have one frontman out there.
GOAL EVERTON - PIENAAR. The visitors break the deadlock. Once again they found joy down their left and when the ball was poked goalwards, Pienaar was able to deflect it past Lonergan.
Lonergan in no rush to get the game going again as hge takes an age with a goal kick. He then finds Neville, who puts in a nice flick to Jagielka. Does he have a bag of tricks?
Rushed clearance from Ricketts when he had time to pick out a pass. A few groans from the stands. Everton work down their left, with Pienaar forcing over a cross. The ball ends up back at his feet, but he sees a shot blocked at source by Ream.
Nice round of applause for Holden as he trots out for a warm-up. Bolton fans and management alike delighted to see the American over his injury troubles and back in contention.
Everton work the ball well down their right. Neville is eventually afforded enough space to send over a cross, but his delivery is poor and sails into the arms of Lonergan.
Eagles gets a foot of the ball, knocking into space. He races after it, but Baines has a head start on him and gets there first. Everton now unable to get out of their own half.
Jelavic pulls wide again, but Alonso is there and does well to win a free-kick. Jelavic too eager to get to the ball and tugged at the Bolton man's shirt. Bolton continue to live dangerously as they try to play their way out from the back.
Alonso does well against Miralles, preventing the Belgian from breaking down the Everton right. Bolton unable to get out of their own half though. Osman snapping into tackles.
Good pressing from Sordell as he forces Jagielka back into his own half. Bolton then suffer a nervy moment at the back as Knight comes to meet a high ball and gets caught underneath it. Ream on hand to help him out.
Anichebe picked out in acres of space on the Everton left. He fires a low cross towards the front post. Jelavic stretches out a leg, but so does Ream - and the Bolton man wins the battle.
Jelavic unable to bring others into play as he meets a long clearance from Howard. Anichebe wins the ball back, but a long way from goal and can do nothing with it.
Mirallas takes, but his effort clips off the edge of the ball and behind for a corner. Mirallas floats the ball out to the edge of the box, before getting it back, He is able to cut inside off the right flank, before firing high over the top from a tight angle.
Fellaini allowed time to pick a pass. He finds Anichebe, who is brought down right on the edge of the box. Great chance for Everton to work Lonergan. Free-kick is to the left of centre, so maybe not the best side for Baines.
Neville nods down to Osman, who has time to spin and move through midfield. Bolton getting plenty of men behind the ball and closing any gaps. The hosts are working hard to keep things as tight as possible.
Pienaar's delivery is only half-cleared. Jagielka returns the ball into the six-yard box, but there is no blue shirt sniffing around for scraps and Lonergan can gather.
Distin forced to go long, but Everton soon get the ball back on the deck. Fellaini involved for the first time. Jelavic is sprung into space again, on the left this time, and his cross deflects behind for a corner.
Sordell felled by Distin, free-kick to Bolton on halfway. Ricketts knocks it long, where Jagielka gets up in front of Sordell. Everton then see the ball back to Howard.
Anichebe with a clever flick down the line for Jelavic. He crosses first time, but his delivery is glanced away from in front of his own goal by Knight.
Bolton looking to press from the off - put down an early marker. Nothing doing at the moment and Baines is able to win a throw for Everton.
Players out onto the field. Plenty of short sleeves on show from the Everton starting XI. Not a day for them, but credit where it is due. Pre-match formalities now underway.
A load of snow has just fallen off one of the sloping roofs. Not good news for those sat underneath said roof. Meanwhile, we are edging closer to kick-off. Teams will be with us shortly.
What is it with people from warmer climes getting in touch today and rubbing our noses in it. Next up, Alan Grundy from 'a very still, warm, sunny La Caleta in Tenerife'. He says: "BWFC could go behind but if so Holden will be called for and we will at least secure a draw."
Away support are in fine voice. One way to keep the cold out is to sing your heart out for 90 minutes. i don't know if they will manage that, but they intend to make themselves heard.

A couple of upper tiers at the Reebok haven't been opened today, but it looks like there will be a good turn out considering the conditions. The FA Cup still has its magic and fans continue to embrace it, which is great to see.
There is a bit of snow around the edge of the pitch, but the playing surface looks to be in a decent state. No excuses on that front for either side.
Quick visit to the press room to try and thaw out before kick-off. Four sandwiches demolished and now ready to go again. Players now out on the field going through their warm-ups.

Clan Mac is first to offer an opinion on today's game. He appears keen to point out that he is in 'warm & windy Torrevieja' as I sit here shivering in Bolton. He says: "Everton will beat Bolton in The FA Cup at The Reebok this afternoon with good goals from Fellaini & Nikica Jelavic."
Worth pointing out that today's game is David Moyes' 500th in charge of Everton. Some record and one which deserves plenty of recognition in an era where managers are rarely given time. Will it be a day for celebration for the Scot, or one to forget?

Everton will be looking to get back on the goal trail this afternoon. They put five past Cheltenham in the third round of the FA Cup, but have drawn a blank in their two games since then.
Bolton have hardly been pulling up trees in the league this season, but the cup offers them a chance to establish momentum and build confidence.
