Nathan Baker will undergo a fitness test ahead of Bristol City's Sky Bet Championship home game with Sheffield Wednesday.
The former Aston Villa defender pulled his hamstring in last weekend's defeat at Cardiff after suffering minor concussion. Striker Famara Diedhiou (knee) has been given the all-clear to play after being forced off in the final few minutes at Cardiff.
Eros Pisano (hamstring), Milan Djuric (groin) and Jens Hegeler (knee) are all back in training, but Callum O'Dowda (ankle) and Matty Taylor (hernia) remain on the treatment table.
Wednesday defender Tom Lees is in contention to return after three months out. Lees has not played since the end of November following groin surgery, but he has trained this week and is an option as the Owls seek to bounce back from three straight defeats.
Sean Clare was ineligible for the midweek FA Cup defeat at Swansea and should return alongside goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith and fellow midfielder Joel Pelupessy, who were rested at the Liberty Stadium. Jordan Thorniley could also be recalled after sustaining concussion last month, but Ross Wallace (knee) and Jack Hunt (hamstring) have joined the Owls' lengthy injury list.
Bristol City have lost one of their last 12 home league matches against Wednesday (W5 D6), losing 4-1 in November 2004.
Sheffield Wednesday's most recent win at Ashton Gate came in January 2011, winning 3-0 in an FA Cup match.
Bristol City only lost three of their first 29 matches in all competitions this season - since then, they've lost eight of their last 13 games.
Jos Luhukay is still yet to win an away Championship match with Sheffield Wednesday (P4 W0 D3 L1), with just five goals scored in those four matches (two for, three against).
Famara Diedhiou has scored five goals in his last seven Championship appearances at Ashton Gate.
Atdhe Nuhiu has had a hand in seven goals in six starts in all competitions under Luhukay (four goals, three assists).
Bristol City's poor run has finally caught up with them and they're now on the outside looking into the play-offs. They have simply dropped too many points lately and need to get going again.
A home game against an out-of-form Sheffield Wednesday represents another great chance to get back to winning ways. The Owls are sleepwalking down the table at the moment. It's a tough one to call, though, so I'm going to go for a draw.
David Prutton predicts: 1-1 (11/2 with Sky Bet)
