    Bluebirds welcome Pilgrims to Cardiff

Cardiff City will be out to extend their winning streak to four matches when they host rock-bottom Plymouth in the Championship. The Bluebirds are back on song following a rough period, although Argyle are lacking confidence after losing five games on the bounce. City's on-loan forward Kelvin Etuhu is a slight doubt having limped off against West Brom with suspected ankle ligament damage, but scans have shown the injury was not as serious as first feared. Defender Miguel Comminges and midfielder Stephen McPhail remain the only absentees with full-back Kevin McNaughton (calf), defender Gabor Gyepes and midfielders Peter Whittingham (groin) and Joe Ledley (hip) all available.
    Pilgrims news
Plymouth defender Shane Lowry has returned to parent club Aston Villa following his initial three-month loan spell. Right-back David Gray has returned to Manchester United meaning manager Paul Mariner will be forced into making at least two changes. On-loan Cardiff right-back Darcy Blake is ineligible so Karl Duguid could fill in. Mariner is hoping experienced defender Chris Barker, ruled out since the start of the season with a calf injury, will be fit to contest the left-back berth with Gary Sawyer.
