Cumbrians hoping for the three-point haul against Rovers

Carlisle United will be looking to move away from the drop zone when improving Bristol Rovers make the long trip up North. Cumbrians defender Livesey has sat out the last three league games with tendinitis and is not ready to return while midfielder Marc Bridge-Wilkinson is a few weeks away following his recent toe operation. David Raven is pushing for a place in the back four after being an unused substitute against Peterborough in midweek following his recovery from an ankle injury, but Jeff Smith is still sidelined with a hip problem. Boss Greg Abbott will keep faith with striker Danny Graham despite him not finding the net in their last six League One outings. Winger Joe Anyinsah should once again partner Graham with forwards Michael Bridges, Scott Dobie and youngster Gary Madine on the bench.
Rovers team news
Rovers manager Paul Trollope is set to name an unchanged side for his team's lengthy trip to Brunton Park. Top scorer Rickie Lambert returned to the starting XI in the 2-0 midweek victory over Oldham following his substitute appearance against Leicester and has had no ill-effects from his previous hip injury. It is a similar case for midfielder David Pipe who also proved his fitness against The Latics. Byron Anthony will be confident of retaining his place in the centre of defence ahead of Craig Hinton after he scored in his first appearance since December as he helped Rovers to a clean sheet. Hinton is likely to have to settle for a place on the bench again as Rovers search for a fourth win in five games. Long-term absentee Danny Coles is recovering following a knee operation but is unlikely to be ready for a first-team return until next week.
