Jamal Campbell-Ryce could be part of Carlisle's squad for the match against Crawley.
The winger has returned to training having missed last weekend's draw with Exeter due to a calf injury. Ashley Nadesan came off the bench to score against the Grecians and is pushing for a starting spot.
Tom Miller, Kelvin Etuhu, Jason Kennedy and Nicky Adams are all still missing.
Crawley will be without Josh Yorwerth for the trip. The defender must serve a two-game ban having been booked in four successive appearances to take his tally for the season to 10 cautions.
Boss Harry Kewell admitted he had "one or two other injuries" but would not divulge the names of those struggling. Thomas Verheydt (knee) will be assessed again while Jordan Roberts also missed out against Morecambe last weekend through injury.
Carlisle are unbeaten in their last eight league matches against Crawley (W4 D4).
Crawley's only Football League win over the Cumbrians was in September 2012, winning 2-0 at Brunton Park in League One.
The Cumbrians have won four of their last five league games, drawing the other.
Crawley haven't kept a clean sheet in any of their last 10 away league games, conceding 21 in total in that run (W4 D1 L5).
