Thanks for joining me this evening, sorry I couldn't post all your views, will do my best to do so next time. Match reports and reaction coming right up.
Chelsea are though to the Europa League final!! A three goal blast in nine second half minutes seal their spot in Amsterdam in May 15.
Torres has a shot from the in the area that Sommer parries but Oscar can't convert the rebound and Basel clear.
Their team may be losing, but the Basel fans are having fun anyway. Red flares and smoke rise from the away section of the ground, huge banners are waved and loud songs sung.
Jaques Zoua sends a curling shot just wide of the post. The game is drifting towards its conclusion now.
@AFitz18 says: "3 in 9 mins isn't that special, Spurs and Arsenal both scored 3 in 5 mins this season. Liverpool got 3 in 6 in the CL Final 2005."
Marcelo Diaz has a shot that takes a wicked deflection off Ivanovic, Cech does well to push the ball behind for a corner.
@krizon4real says: "Three goals in nine minutes...wow can u beat that! Chelsea for the cup if they keep the tempo like this."
Basel work the ball around nicely again but El-Nenny gets underneath his shot and sends the ball over.
Well, I gave him the big build up, but Lampard fluffs his lines, sidefooting the ball well over. Just put your foot through it next time Frank!
Schar is booked for tugging Torres back. Free kick to Chelsea in a dangerous position. Lampard standing over it.......
Basel nearly hit back but Fabian Frei's thumping shot smacks off the post and bounces away. Wonderful effort from the midfielder.
Double change for Basel: Jaques Zoua and David Degen are on for Valentin Stocker and Marco Streller.
Pick. That. One. Out! David Luiz hits a first time curling howitzer from 25 yards that fizzes beyond a motionless Sommer and into the top corner! With his left foot as well!!
From the resulting corner Cahill is penalised for handball, Basel have a free kick, much to their relief.
Chelsea well on the way to the final now! Victor Moses steams forward and lays it off to Torres on the edge of the box, his shot is blocked but falls perfectly for Moses to calmly slot home beyond Sommer.
Well that has made everyone in blue feel a whole lot better. Lampard's shot from distance is fumbled by Sommer and Fernando Torres is on hand to slam home the rebound from close range.
Mohamed El-Nenny fires a shot just over from 25 yards, it is a nervy Stamford Bridge now as Basel continue to attack.
@Adzyboy_TV says: "Chelsea need to apply the accelerator, and Mata needs to come on. 3-2 to Chelsea on the night (5-3 Agg)."
@ReAnEyHTFC says: "Good first half but Chelsea need to show more urgency if they don't want to concede again!"
David Cashell says: I'm A Man United Fan & I'd Like To See Chelsea go through to the final & hopefully win the Europa League.
Alan S says: "This has been a poor half from Chelsea and now we find ourselves in a situation where a similar 45 mins will see this campaign over. Time for Mata and Oscar Rafa.....and soon!"

Well, that has made things interesting. The game looked to be meandering to half time before Salah's strike just before the whistle. Basel are now just a goal away from the final!
It's game on at the Bridge! The Blues defence is carved open as Mohamed Salah latches onto a throughball before coolly finishing first-time beyond Cech.
There were also appeals for handball in the aftermath of that Cech save, but the referee correctly adjudged that Stocker's shot hit the chest of Bertrand and not the arm.
Great save Cech!! A lovely move by Basel sees Salah played through on goal, but the big Chelsea 'keeper spreads himself well to block the shot.
Hazard finds himself in space down the left but despite having four blue shirts to aim for he overhits the cross and it goes out of play.
Cesar Azpilicueta gets a bit excited and tries a shot from 25 yards, but he screws it well wide - very much the shot of a full-back that.
A inswinging Basel corner is easily punched away by Cech, set pieces have not been particularly impressive - from either team - so far this evening.
Great chance for Chelsea! A lovely run and backheel from Hazard find Moses who lays the ball off to onrushing Ramires 10 yards out, he can't get enough power in his low shot though and Sommer saves.
Stocker plays in a neat ball towards Mohamed Salah in the area but Cahill intercepts and puts the ball out for a corner.
Wow, that was close! Steinhofer dinks in a hanging cross from the righttowards Streller, who sends a Marco Van Basten-style first-time volley fizzing wide of Petr Cech's post. That would have been some goal had that gone in.
A crunching tackle from Gary Cahill leaves Valentin Stocker dazed and confused on the turf. It was a fair challenge from Cahill, but Basel put the ball out of play anyway so Stocker can get treatment.
Lampard tries to pick out Moses with a cross towards the far post but the former Wigan man can't control and it goes out for a goal kick.
Lampard whips in a corner from the Chelsea left that beats everyone as it fizzes across the six yard box before Basel clear near their own corner flag.
The Basel fans are making a right old racket and show no signs of quietening down. The Chelsea supporters are repsonding with chants of their own, making it a boisterous atmosphere at the Bridge so far.
Hazard's corner nearly finds David Luiz at the far post be he hits an air shot and the ball spins out for a goal kick.
Fernando Torres has a shot from distance, it looks to be creeping in to the bottom corner until Yann Sommer gets down to palm it away.
Torres comes forward down the left and tries to play in the onrushing Hazard, but the ball is intercepted and cleared for a throw.
Basel look threatening when they come forward, they have come close to breaking through the Chelsea backline on a few occasions so far.
Off the post!! Fernando Torres dinks a lovely ball through to Frank Lampard who scuffs a volley into the ground, it has enough to beat the goalkeeper but bounces off the left hand post and away.
Serey Die flies in on Ryan Bertrand, that could have been nasty had the Chelsea man not jumped out of the way. The referee gives Die a ticking off.
Early chance for Basel as Marco Streller volleys just wide from inside the area, the Chelsea defenders were caught sleeping there.
Don't forget to keep your thoughts coming in as the game goes on Tom.Mallows@bskyb.com or @Tom_Mallows.
"Blue is the colour.." is echoing around Stamford Bridge, the fans are in place and the players are gathering in the tunnel. Not long to go now......
Usman Abdulqadir says: "I think Rafa has picked a decent side. I expect Ramires to be in the right wing, Moses to the left, Hazard behind Torres with Frank and Luiz anchoring the midfield. The team can easily change to 4-3-3 formation as well, so it can be fluid. My only concern is Bertrand. He may be the weak link. I predict a 3-1 score with Frank, Hazard and Luiz to get the goals, while Bertrand scores an own goal."
Toby says: "Chelsea to win 2-0 (4-1) because they beat them away and will have more advantage at home so Chelsea to win! I reckon Mata will also join later on."
Steph, from Monchengladbach, Germany says: "Happy with the team Benitez has chosen. He has got it right most times.Mata on the bench is ok. If things not working out, bring him on!! I am tipping a 2-1 win to Chelsea. Come on the Chels!"
Chris Green from Huddersfield says: "This match is not going to be an easy one for Chelsea because FC Basel are a good team with some talented players, but if they perform to their potential and take their chances, then I think they'll nick it 2-1/3-2. "
@Louis_Lamps says: "I think apart from Terry being subbed the team looks strong. Sttong backline, quick counter-attacking football, 3-1 Chelsea win."
Should Chelsea win the final then they would join Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Ajax and Juventus in completing a clean sweep of European trophies - taking in the now defunct European Cup winner's Cup.
Should Chelsea progress this evening they would face either Fenerbahce or Benfica in the final at the Amsterdam Arena on May 15. Fenerbahce currently hold a slender 1-0 lead from the first leg in Turkey.
David Luiz's late goal in the first leg gives Chelsea the advantage in this tie but they would do well not to underestimate Basel. Not only did the Swiss side knock out Spurs in the last round but they also helped dump Manchester United out of the Champions League at the group stage last season, drawing at Old Trafford before winning at home.
So what do you think of those teams? Has Rafa made the right choices? Will Chelsea go all the way in the Europa League? Let me know your thoughts via email Tom.Mallows@bskyb.com or Tweet me @Tom_Mallows. I will do my best to air your views.
Frank Lampard captains the side this evening as he chases the two goals he needs to break Bobby Tambling's goalscoring record for Chelsea. Branislav Ivanovic comes into the team at the expense of John Terry, who drops to the bench. Ryan Bertrand is in for the suspended Ashley Cole while Fernando Torres starts instead of the ineligible Demba Ba.
Chelsea: Cech, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Bertrand; Lampard, Luiz; Ramires, Hazard, Moses, Torres
Another season, another European semi-final for Chelsea. Ok, so it may not have the lustre of the Champions League and that dramatic night in the Nou Camp 12 months ago (Gary Neville has only just recovered) but the chance to reach a European final is not an opportunity to be sniffed at.
