Bottom club Chesterfield will be without the suspended Scott Wiseman when they host Forest Green in Sky Bet League Two.
Defender Wiseman was sent off for two bookable offences in the closing stages of Saturday's victory over Exeter and serves a one-match ban. Striker Chris O'Grady is pushing for a start after making his comeback from injury as a late substitute against the Grecians. Jerome Binnom-Williams could continue in defence following his first start of the season after overcoming an ankle problem.
Forest Green are set to be unchanged after an impressive run which has lifted them five points clear of the relegation places. Rovers have won four and drawn one of their last five games and boss Mark Cooper has no new injury concerns.
Defender Dale Bennett returned from suspension in Saturday's dramatic 3-2 victory over Crewe and Manny Monthe will be among the substitutes again. Charlie Cooper is close to rejoining the squad after five weeks out with a knee injury.
This will be the first ever meeting between these two teams in the EFL.
Forest Green will be Chesterfield's 127th different opponent in their Football League history; they have beaten 122 of the previous 126.
Chesterfield won their last home league game, against Exeter on Saturday. They haven't won back-to-back league games at home since December 2016
After drawing one, losing four and conceding on average 2.8 goals per game in their opening five away league games, Forest Green have since won two, drawn two and conceded 0.8 goals per game in the subsequent four.
