Bordeaux claimed a 2-1 triumph away to CFR Cluj to throw UEFA Champions League Group A wide open.
Victory for the French side, coupled with Chelsea's defeat to Roma, means that just three points separate the four teams going into the final two fixtures.
Bordeaux took the lead with just six minutes on the clock when Yoan Gouffran got in behind the Cluj defence and cut the ball back for Yoann Gourcuff to slot home from close range.
But the home side found the perfect response to Bordeaux's impressive start when they levelled just four minutes later through striker Dani.
A free-kick on the left flank reached Yssouf Kone at the far post and he nodded the ball back across the area for Dani to power an unstoppable header beyond Mathieu Valverde and into the net.
Scare
Fernando was then allowed to advance towards the edge of the Cluj box before firing his low shot just wide, with goalkeeper Eduard Stancioiu immediately berating his defenders.
The French side then survived a major scare when Valverde missed Juan Culio's corner from the right, but Cadu failed to convert under the bar and Matthieu Chalme hacked clear.
And the visitors made the most of that let-off as they regained the lead in the 38th minute with Wendell whipping a clever free-kick over the Cluj wall and into the top corner from just outside the box.
Cluj came close to levelling after the interval when Alvaro Pereira crossed from the left and Sixto Peralta headed goalwards only for Valverde to produce an outstanding save.
And the Bordeaux goalkeeper again had to be on top form to keep out Sebastian Dubarbier's effort, with coach Maurizio Trombetta left frustrated by the form of the visiting shot-stopper.
