Colchester v Oldham preview

Team news for Tuesday's Sky Bet League 1 clash between Colchester and Oldham.

George Elokobi is set to make his second Colchester debut against former side Oldham on Tuesday night.

The defender returned to the U's in the summer after leaving the Latics but has not featured since as he attempts to improve his fitness.

But Colchester boss Tony Humes, who has no fresh injury concerns, has said the ex-Wolves man will be involved this time around.

"George will be part of the squad against Oldham. He'll be involved but he probably needs a bit more match time," he told the Daily Gazette.

Striker Jake Cassidy is out for Oldham because of an ankle injury.

The former Wolves man was substituted 13 minutes into the Latics' 1-0 win over Fleetwood on Saturday and is expected to be out for some time.

Rhys Turner, who replaced Cassidy in the win over Fleetwood, could now come into the side, and Jonathan Forte is another contender.

Defender Brian Wilson missed Saturday's win because of a groin problem and is also a doubt for the trip.
